I have shot on many military and civilian ranges, all over the world, and Peacemaker National Training Center is one of the safest ranges I have ever been on. When I am on the firing line, trying to focus on why I am there, I know I am safe and everything is being operated in an orderly and fair manner for all. I have been on some ranges where I am unable to direct my focus on my tasks due to the free for all atmosphere that exists there and the lack of control on the firing line. I understand that it will be impossible to please everyone, so inevitably there will be some negative reviews of this range. However, I invite anyone who may be concerned about this range, at least to visit the facility and request a tour. If you are looking for somewhere, in the Mid Atlantic region, to shoot safely, with good facilities, you will not be disappointed at Peacemaker National Training Center. I will continue to utilize Peacemakers for my range needs.

Please dont read the previous 2 reviews, and make your decision. Please come see us and make your mind up for yourself. Yes, if your ammo sticks to a magnet you can not shoot at steel with it. We have no way of determining if your ammo is steel-core or bi-metal. When the RSO is running a full firing line he/she doesnt have the time to determine the composition of your bullets. 99% of the shooters know this ahead of time, and plan accordingly. All our ranges are outdoor, and are exposed to the elements. Freezing temperatures will freeze our backdrops and berms. We have a commitment to our shooters and neighbors to make our facility safe. We will not allow shooting if bullets are ricocheting off of frozen berms. Like any other outdoor activity, mother nature must cooperate also. If we were rude to someone, that would be very out of character for us, and they most likely deserved it! October is a beautiful time of month to come see us.

Horrible experience!!! Avoid at all costs. Office staff member very rude, unprofessional. Overall, very bad experience. Will take my business elsewhere and tell all my friends whom I have referred there about my experience as well. All documentation they have you sign states no "steel core" and I am fine with that and have thus never brought any "steel core" ammo to the site. With the advent of cheap bimetal steel case Russian ammo it makes it much more affordable to shoot. I shot this ammo at the site with no problems for eight months, then all of a sudden they said if it sticks to a magnet it can not be shot even if it isnt steel core ammo. There goes my savings. The funny thing is they even sell the same ammo at the shop. Its the same ammo I had but cant shoot any steel targets with it. I dont think the management knows the difference between "steel core" and bimetal steel case bullets.

Hello joined the range as a gift to further shoot long range rifle. Seems as though there long range rifle reqirements that you shoot 1 minute of angle or less on the 100 yd range.further that the 2 an 3 hundred range is right next to same and it is steel plate only.No paper range other than 100 and the pistol range is dirt and 2 tables 25 yd for members and public the other ranges are private only, so forget about it.I also found out to shoot long range the 600 yd and 1000yd range are open on a very limited basis like very short hours in the middle of the week 1time maybe per month very few if any personell to run it. No large caliber rifles 40 or 50 dirt roads you have to travel several miles from the main store to get to it. They will tell you what you want to hear after the money is spent it is a very different story.pay as you come but don,t waste your money on a full member ship.Its a farse

I called before coming over. And asked how much is to rent a gun. They told me $25 an houre. I got there and they said $30 an hour. And this was nothing compared what happened. They asked to hold my drivers license, till i finish shooting. That is ok. I finished shooting and i forget to that i gacgave it to them. 2 days latter i was in Massachusetts. And wanted to check in a hotel. They asked me for my ID. And i relized i didnt have it. So they didnt let me in. And had to sleep in my car. And i was driving without licenses on me. Till u remember i left it there. Which kind of animals are they. They couldnt call me the nxt day that i left it there. I could of gotten arrested if i would been pulled over. Never go there

Ive been a member here for 2 years and have no plans of dropping my membership. No other shooting facility offers the versatility and options that Peacemaker does (multiple shotgun disciplines, multiple tactical bays & long range benches offering 600 & 1000 yard offerings). Even on the public side there are 3 rifle shooting distances (100, 200 & 300 yards) offered off of 14+ benches as well as a pistol bay. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The shop has a nice diverse supply of reloading components, factory ammo, guns & accessories

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! Recently went in to the store and was just seeking advice on how to save some of my fathers firearms that were in a house fire. Not only did they show me which stuff would be the best they helped clean the worst of the guns just to show me how well FIRECLEAN works. Nicest people i have met in a long time. Very helpful staff and very knowledgeable. Lots of ammo on hand and a growing list of other items such as holsters and such. Will be going back again and again for years to come.

Ranges are all outdoors, which would not be a problem except they seem to be closed for most of winter. They have been closed pretty much since Christmas because of "cold weather," though there were a great many days in the 40s and it was still closed. If you have no interest in shooting year round, and like to shoot IDPA, join. Otherwise, I would just pay the range fee to use occasionally, or join another range that will be open year round.

The public rifle range goes out to 300 yards and the range officers are very helpful with new shooters and are generally very relaxed. I spent a whole Friday afternoon with some friends and it was so relaxing to shoot steel all day. The range officer was very helpful and patient with one of my friends who was a new shooter. Bottom line, $35 per person for a pistol range and rifle range combo. Nothing beats it.

Went there today for the first time. Took the guys Im my family with me, for my fathers birthday. We all were treated very good our staffers were awesome we really enjoyed ourselves shooting trap. Had a great days I encourage anyone that wants to go have some fun check these people out, dedicated to giving there clients a good time and they are successful. Sam
