It took OVER 2 HOURS to get skis & boots! Only two people working on a busy day and 5 people behind us were helped and out of there before us with skis rentals, we were ignored half the time and the owner was bouncing around to different people who just walked in the door. We were doing a season rental which isnt cheap they were helping people with that were behind us. The owner was going back & forth helping people behind us and took forever for finish us. THEN we were about to check out and one of our bindings that were supposedly sized was wrong we almost walked out of there without our bindings set. our kids got so tired of waiting over 2 hours! I told the owner that we were passed by several groups behind us all he seemed to not care, he should finish with a group and then help the next one but we waited and waited ready to go as he ran around back and forth, it was a free for all, those who pushed in front of the counter got more of his attention and ignored us waiting ahead of them. If you want help here you have to be super pushy get in their face and hover over them so they finish you! They dont take people in order, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Its too bad as we are really close to them. Next year we will try a different place! I sure hope the equipment is decent, its ok but definitely looks well used!

This has to be one of the best bike stores in Washington state. I bought a bike (Cannondale Bad Boy Solo) from their Redmond store and got really really good service. Andrew from the store helped me compare a couple of bikes and explained to me exactly how they differ in terms of components, usability, experience and let me try some out. He is quite knowledgeable because he does a lot of biking himself (of various types: mountain, road...). Not only does the store already have a great selection (with great value for money as mentioned by Bill), but also they do some customized bikes like road tires on a 29" mountain bike which allow one to get the best of both mountain and road bikes in a single bike. I havent seen that at other stores. Also, they really want to make sure you get a great experience and did a free gear tune-up on my bike about a week after I bought as they said that a new bike might need after the first couple of rides. So, Id definitely go back there for other purchases!

I have been to a few local bike shops, and this one does not the help out the local rider. They price gouge and are extremely rude. I have gone in a few times to see if the experience has changed over the last couple years. I will never take a bike in there to get repaired or tuned. A friend got quoted $400 to put on a new chain and rear cassette; same cassette and a different shop did it for $70 for him. I went to get some info on a cracked frame, the mechanic is also the service guy and needs to check his manners. Said some stuff that was very off-putting and degrading. Basically he implied I stole the bike, and didnt want to help me get it repaired under warranty. He quoted 100$ for tear down and that he doubted it would be covered under warranty so it would probably be more. BTW I got it repaired under warranty by a different shop, completely free!

This owner was extremely rude on the phone. When I asked him about the condition of the rental equipment, he stated "I do not have time for this". Unbelievable really, especially seeing as how when he initially answered the phone (without any greeting whatsoever), he continued a conversation for approx. 2 minutes with a customer in the store about construction of high-rises in Bellevue, before even acknowedging that I was waiting on the line. NOTE TO OWNER: if you cannot manage answering your phone in a courteous manner do not bother answering it at all. He also told me he was the only establishment in the area with rental equipment available ("everyone else is sold out") which was completely untrue.

I rented snowboard for my son and they gave us not as wide board for his boot size. The toes where draging on the snow when carving. After researching on the web just to make sure.... the board wasnt wide enough. All what they told me that they are sorry to hear. Well, I am sorry to write this. Plus whos in these days have bindings for boards that needs to be adjusted by skrewdriver!!!

I got a bike here (Kona Dew Plus), and Ive been very happy with it. The story the very nice salesman gave me was that they search for bikes with great build quality that are a little less well known but a great value. I feel thats what I got. If it aint what I got then, well, I guess that means theyre great salespeople. Because Id definitely go back there again.

Before purchassing an item Ive checked them if I could return (NOT exchange). And I tried it at home and it didnt fit. On the next day morning I could get only store credit. They insisted I can only get exchange or store credit. I have this experience with a store in MS Commons. They made a bad impression with this small thing.

The owner makes it a point to make certain you are happy. The rental program is top notch; and if you need to switch something out that is very easy to do, which is good if you have kids who are always growing. Please support local businesses such as this.

The two owners are nice and helpful. Good knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. Has inventory of bikes in the summer and ski/snowboard gear in the winter. A good all around shop for anybody.
