The rest of the store is GREAT. The pharmacy I no longer go 2 b/c of serious problems. #1. They have a mandatory MIN 1 hr wait (usually 2+ hrs) #2 Even if ur waiting in the store w/ a violently ill child. I myself & a couple of my kids have vomited all over me & in their store or nearly passed out while in the car waiting - doesnt matter if its 3 am & u just came from ER - they refuse to rush fill! They will fill Rx for ppl who arent waiting, but later or next day p/u (when ur waiting urgently in the store). #3 After yrs of going there I have had NUMEROUS unacceptable, dangerous or illegal mistakes w/ my meds. Refill count mistakes, wrong meds, failure to fill meds that I called in/dropped off hrs before & specified p/u time, failure to charge insurance I have, days & wks of failure to act when I call & come in asking them to send refill request to Dr, LIES about sending or receiving Dr Rx requests-refills- adjustments (Ive literally had Dr show me notes in my patient record & copy of faxes that they sent as proof they were doing their part). #4 the worst was the time I came straight from Dr office, gave them a STAPLED stack of Rx w/ a CONTROLLED substance Rx on TOP only to have them later claim I NEVER gave it to them! This was after previously "losing" a Rx for same med that I had brought in before (which is why they were stapled that time)! The ONLY good thing about this place is the girl w/ ONE HAND. She is better than the whole rest of the pharm put together. She does her job w/ superb excellency, is super friendly, does it promptly, efficiently, does it RIGHT EVERY time, & STILL remembers me by name when I havent been in for mos! The last few times Ive been forced to go there I specifically ask if shes available. When she says she sent/faxed Dr or ins stuff - u can be sure she did. I honestly hope she makes Pharm manager someday - but @ someplace else.

This is the only 24-hour pharmacy in the peninsula , and living in Bainbridge island, have no choice but to use it after hours. Till lecently the service we were getting was not at all good... during daytime the staff were ovelworked and very curt. The phalmacistmanager Stacy was not patient nor understanding. The other young lady and the japanese phalmacist werer easier to deal with. The erderly night pharmacist was lazy and pretty much led us to believe he did not care what happened to our girls. But recently , I had an ocassion to go there at night and the phalmacist with the mustache and beard (Ram) was realy helpful. he spent more time with my husband and me answering questions , more than the Doctors , and seems to know a lot regarding arsthma and lung infections and the insulrance was down?, fixed it so that we could get a lefund a couple of days down the road. After avoiding the store last 2 years... i think the new people there are change for the better!

The pharmacy staff are very rude and poor customer service they did not even attempt to help me with anything. I called Fredmeyer pharmacy in Bremerton from inside of Walgreens. I explained my situation and the gal was more then willing to help me even with out having all the information in front of her. I will never do business with Walgreens again. I suggest if you want good customer service you go else where as well.
