I was referred here by a friend for prom who gave me a discount card and told me that the rental would only be $50 (with the discount). Apparently he was wrong, because the cheapest price AFTER discount was still $90, and that didnt include other fees like slim fit clothes because I am skinny, which would have added on another $30 or more. To make things worse, none of the prices are listed, and the man who worked with me only told me the prices of the three most expensive suits at first. When I asked him for a lower price, he then told me the price of the next few expensive ones, but again implied that all the suits were that expensive (over $130, post discount, not including shoes or slim fit). It was not until the fourth time that I asked, when I told him that I would be leaving, that he told me about the $90 suit. He was extremely misleading for price, and not accommodating for my price needs as a high school student at all. If you are looking for a good price, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. However, if price is not as much of an issue, then measuring and the rest of the process was quite smooth. Ultimately, I ended up buying a tux online for $110, including shipping, and so would recommend that people only go to this store if they need a high end tuxedo. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

I was recently married, and I must say that my groom and his groomsmen looked very dapper for our big day! Dave was so easy to work with, prompt and realistic about the price and what we could expect for what we were looking for. He gave us an array of fabrics and styles to choose from (jackets, vests, ties, bows... you name it, they had it), and helped me figure out what would look best with our wedding colors. My husband and I both really enjoyed working with this location. From what I have heard about fittings (which I wasnt able to attend) the guys had a great time working with Dave and his crew and shared quite a few laughs as well! If my husband ever needs to rent formal wear in the future Im sure well be making a stop at the Tux Shop (in Redmond) again!

The Tux Shop of Redmond provided excellent customer service and was so generous supporting a local school. I appreciated the 1:1 personalized service, something I would not have received going to a large and crowded formal wear store. The store is conveniently located in downtown Redmond. Great parking and no traffic hassle like if I had gone to Bellevue or Seattle. The store manger David H. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There was quite a selection of tuxedos and formal wear to choose from. The turn around time was quick (notified via text, completely hassle free) and the tuxedo for my son fit perfectly. You bet we will get any future tuxedos/formal wear from The Tux Shop of Redmond!

My little brother gave them a jacket of his to use as an example of the alternations they would have to make on his jacket. They lost that jacket and when we came to pick up the altered one he would be wearing in the wedding the sleeves were about 8 inches too long (not an exaggeration). We had to argue with their manager for 30 minutes before they finally agreed to alter the jacket and get it to us before the wedding. We ordered flat fronted pants and got pleated, some of the groomsmen jackets had obvious grease stains on them, the sleeves on shirts were two to three inches too short. We still had an incredible time at the wedding, but the service we got was very disappointing from the Tux Shop.

Screwed up the father of the brides tuxedo twice, made him drive out here on the day of the wedding, causing him to miss photos and events putting the bride in tears and still had it wrong. Said they might give a 50% discount which wont even cover the cost of gas driving back and forth three times. Very disappointed.

My daughters wedding is in Utah and the groom is using company in utah, but they needed my measuments. I called the Tux Shop in redmond and they said come over and we can take care of you for no cost, which they did. No sales pitch or anything else, just willing to give service.

I came out to Seattle for wedding and the staff was nice but unorganized and underprepared. Everyone sent in measurements which were way off and at the wedding one of the groomsmen received the wrong pants. Plus we were missing cufflings and some shirts had broken buttons.

This will have been the second time that I have used the Tux Shop. They have been extremely helpful and have always delivered what we ordered and what we needed. I would highly recommend renting from the Tux Shot in Redmond, especially to those on the Issaquah Plateau!!
