The salon is probably one of the worst departments to be in. The management as well as co workers dont treat each other fairly and there is noticeable favoritism. Instead of management from the salon and upper management taking care of unresolved issues they tend to turn the cheek way to often causing stylists to quite their job. At the time I tried to tough out being there I have seen 20 stylist and receptionist quit there jobs from the salon alone, not including from other departments. I should probably mention ive been at that particular store for 1 1/2 years. Needless to say jcpenny salon is one of the worst salons to go to based off that alone. If you are a returning member to the salon you might want to ask yourself why you never see the same stylist around because if things were working out so great A. Youd be seeing the same person and B. There would be alot more people seated in the seats rather then 2 people on a Saturday. There are alot more choices in the mall like Ulta or Regis and even more choices to pick from outside the mall.

The "misses" department really needs more associates. The fitting rooms are somewhat bad and their is nobody on the floor while 1 person is stuck behind the register with a long line . Thankfully the day I came in with my disabled wife a wonderful associate name Audrey and she was very nice and helpful and VERY patient even when I was complaining to her about her department.

I recently went to the store in search of dress attire for an interview. I generally do not have a pleasant experience purchasing dress shirts. Thankfully, one of the ladies in mens apparel (Karen) proficiently handled my concerns and request and had me walking out of the store with a shirt better suited to me than any previous experience I have had outside tailoring.

The jewelry section is less than satisfactory. We bought our rings at jcpenny, north gate location. We purchased the care plans and they couldnt seem to find any of the info. Nor believe us when we repeatedly stated what color gold we bought The ring as. The ladies tried to redeem themselves and were kind but we decided to just take our business elsewhere.

They ultimately didnt have what I was looking for as my style isnt really in style right now, but Christy was very helpful and nice. She dropped was she was doing and tried to find what I was looking for. Gave me lots of suggestions and was very curteous

I cant believe a Company whos on the brink of bankruptcy wont open their store until 11:00am on Sunday one of the busiest days for shopping in the week! They lost me as a customer.

Friendly staff and clean restrooms. I went in for big and tall clothes for my husband the selection was perfect, though the signage could have been better for sales.
