The rudest people working at this place. Not one of the 4 employees I encountered was helpful let alone pet knowledgeable. Couldnt answer any simple questions and not one of the 5 employees standing at the door (God forbid it was 3 mins past closing) offered to help me with the huge dog kennel I was dragging out the door too heavy for me to lift, they all watched me struggle with it. And when I forgot my bag of stuff I just bought because I was struggling with the kennel I had to knock and knock and knock as the employees just looked at me and shook their heads as if to tell me they were closed sorry.....WTF I was the last person just in there I KNOW THAT! can I get my merchandise I just paid for? Wtf. Worst experience ever had at a pet store....Ive got 2 dogs, a cat and a ferret, wont be shopping here

I have been there several times. Every time that I go, I feel that their employees have zero knowledge of any of the products that they have or even what products they have. The most recent time that I was there, I had to pick up some food for my dog. My dog is allergic to many things in most dog foods and will not eat them after a day or so because they start making him sick. When I got there, I was overwhelmed with the selection of Grain-free dogs foods. There was only one problem, the prices on 90% of those dog foods were outrageous. I could literally buy him steak for dinner and it would have been less expensive. I finally found one grain-free variety that was comparable in price to the other brands I had gotten him in the past. He will not go near it.

My sister and I have adopted a rescue dog. She has a lot of problems, but is adorable. We have her in a training class now. When we first brought her in to Petsmart we didnt know what to do. All their staff, and I do mean, all, have been wonderful in helping us learn how to get her more comforatble with other people and other dogs. They have also been great in helping us select the right harness and other products.. Ive been going to this Petsmart for the 10 years for cat things. I have always found them helpful. Maybe sometimes an employee doesnt know the answer to my questions, but they always found someone who did. I found their staff to be friendly and most helpful. Diane

Dan made our PetSmart shopping experience so awesome. We came in multiple times to get a goldfish bowl, a beta, a hamster cage and a 36 gallon aquarium set with a stand. The latter was a huge budget item for us. These pets, wether fish, hamsters or out cat and dog are huge benifits for health. Its funny that shopping for something that lowers your blood pressure can raise it in the purchase process! We had trouble with the cabinet assembly design. Dan not only made it right, he made it better. He helped us pay attention to sales and get the best value we could. We are conditioning the tank water and looking fwd to going back soon to buy fish. Thanks PetSmart!!!!!

I was hoping to get someone with a decent amount of years under their belt... that didnt happen. The girl butchered my dogs hair cut. My dog is an Irish Terrier x lab and the other girl that I spoke with there was somewhat knowledgeable and advised not to cut too short as my dog has the lab undercoat and cutting into that would ruin its softness. Unfortunately, my dog hair cut looks like a mean joke. Im going to have to wait a long time (as her hair grows short) for her hair to grow out enough to take her somewhere else for them to attempt to fix the hack job they gave my poor dog. Worst experience, waste of money. Spare your poor dog and yourself the embarrassment.

These guys are super fair when it comes to training classes. My pup had an injury and couldnt attend class so they insisted on applying what Id already paid to a new session- I was planning just to be out the money. The first night, I discovered I was the only person in the class (i signed up for a different session since I was looking to socialize more), but the trainer still gave me the full hour and talked through some issues I was having- shes amazing and Super knowledgeable. Additionally being there presents so many opportunities for socialization (and youre at a pet store- If youve got a picky pooch like me, you can buy emergency treats while youre there).

Worst customer service! Be aware not to buy pets from them. We tried to buy a chincilla, and been looking for months. And we were excited we finally found one chincilla that is available. We were about to spend $500, but when we try to get the chincilla. SERENA said "its a spontaneous decision, so they cant sell it to us". So customers need to tell the store they want to buy a pet , months in advance?

Went to get my dogs nails trimmed today. The lady asked if she had a rabies vaccination and I replied of course. She looks me up in the system and states that my dogs shots were good till 2018 but could not see my dog without an exact date in 2018. Very frustrating that they would rather argue about a shot that their computer says is good for the next three years. Will not be going back there again.

Best experience ever, SUSAN she help my little boy to find his first gold fish she is wordless we have a lots of fun and she is overall a really good kindly person. Always with the smile and she never try to sell us expensive stuff she is awesome!!! Thank You!!! We are looking forward to go back for a big fish tank!!! I got way too many different answers, called a few times to get confirmation, both times was told yes they do price match, made the drive cause i needed the filter taht night, got there and they looked at the web price i gave them and had to call a "manager" cause the price difference was too much. If I was told no over the phone it wouldve been fine, terrible customer service.

The grooming is overpriced. The groomers also dont seem very patient with the dogs. One of mine came out with a lion cut because he didnt like the razor near his head. She didnt try shears or anything else. She also didnt cut detail areas like the fur between the pads of his feet. Petco is much cheaper and they do a much better and thorough job with the dogs.

Always very nice and willing to help out. Probably the best PS Ive been to as far as the employees. There is a young guy that works in the back by fish that I always seem to buy crickets from, and he is just awesome! I dont rate very often but he would be the reason I did just now. Wish I knew his name.

Katy is our groomer - she did amazing & our dog, Comet, came back happy & sparkly like a shiny new puppy! Cant wait to come see her again. Cara, the store manager, is friendly, caring and takes extra time to ensure you & your pet are happy & healthy!
