I have been a member of the Kirkland PCC for 35 years. Two comments I would like to make on the store, the first comment is regarding a couple of reviews here on one of the deli clerks. It is hard to imagine having to be totally friendly all the time and to every customer- it is just not normal. I know it is the rage now in grocery stores, maybe started by Safeway (they have to smile at EVERY customer?), but between handing out free samples to the permanently indecisive, and waiting for their relatives, the nominally confused, to commit to a food item in the case, I am just not surprised that the clerks might get a little short at times. Personally, I would strangle some of the entitled egos I see at the store at times. The clerks at PCC are human, not robots - give them a break Secondly, and this really bugs me- when trying to get the absolute best value for your grocery buck, dont ruin the pickings for the rest of us. The folks that feel the need to handle every piece of produce to find the perfect one, unbundle and re-bundle things to get the biggest portion, toss the pieces that dont meet their criteria back on the shelf or another shelf, dig through mounds of produce like a dog, repackage berries, and my favorite, strip back the husk on every ear of corn to make sure the kernels extend all the way to the end (you only need to feel the end of the ear to determine this) or break off broccoli stems so they only pay for the flowerlets, knock it off. I have even bought extra large eggs where some idiot had swapped out medium eggs for those in my carton. When you do things like this, it is stealing, and if i am shopping and see you doing it, ill embarrass the heck out of you.. You are not guaranteed that every fruit or vegetable you buy is perfect- like people are not perfect. Oh, and I love the Kirkland store, always have. It is not a cheap place to shop, but I have gotten so used-to the high quality and good people, I seldom shop elsewhere.

PCC. Theyre like whole foods, but more genuine. They have mostly local food. Quality meat. Quality veggies. Lots of organic, gluten free, etc type food. Many national organic brands for staples like canned goods, cereal, etc. I think the only thing theyre missing is a bigger beer section. Metropolitan Markets is fairly big, but I dont like that place as much. I love that they recently partnered with Amazon Prime Now. I didnt really like Instacart for delivery - their fees and uncertain pricing annoyed me. Amazon Prime Now and PCC say the prices will be the same. So, all I have to do is tip the person who delivers. Score!

I was just checking out reviews on all of the stores and I saw this review referencing the deli clerk (mid age, grey hair). I dont know if this is the same guy but I had a similar experience. He just wasnt all that friendly. Just chilly. After two items, I decided to move on and try to find some pre-packaged deil items. I have been shopping at PCC for at least ten years and I can honestly say, I always have a good experience. So I dont know what this guys problem is but if he cannot be friendly with customers, then maybe he should find a position where he is not dealing with the public.

PCC is the best natural food co-op "hands down" in the country. I have lived and traveled all over the U.S. (east-west, north-south) and no other local natural food operation comes close to the quality and selection that this great little gem offers. All the stores are great, but Kirkland is my favorite for convenience and friendliness. We are very lucky to have such a treasure in our area. Dont take it for granted!

PCC is the most substantive grocery store Ive experienced. Usually their prices are better than WF, and they definitely have less fluff and junk food. This is the smallest of the PCCs Ive been to, but its my favorite. Its small and got all the essentials. It feels like a more cozy neighborhood market than the box store height stores. Very friendly and helpful staff, as I have experienced at all PCC locations.

The quality assurance of every item in this store is unlike any other natural grocer Ive encountered. The entire produce section is organic, and I would trust most items on the shelves by sheer merit of PCC stocking it. This is not the grocery store for cheapskates, but if you value high food quality, you can find it here for a reasonable and affordable price.

PCC doesnt stock anything that has "high glucose corn syrup ", therefore I dont have to waste my time reading the ingredients. Also the shelf price sticker has ingredient information thats time saving (example: it tells you if gluten is in the item). They have wonderful customer service and offer monthly discounts for members.

PCC has a great selection of local, organic, and other healthful foods and less toxic products. This particular store in Kirkland is on the smaller side and while they do well with the space they have, it does impact selection range and options for sizes of products.

I believe this is the oldest PCC and so the building itself is older, but the people are amazing and so helpful and knowledgable! I have been very happy coming here for my food and groceries. If you dont go co-op, nows the time to start and you should start here!

The absolute best deli in the area, hands down. Also more reasonable than people think. i bought a gorgeous Steak Bahn Mi (Vietnamese) sandwich for just under $7. Also their espresso is reasonable and organic. Definitely worth checking out.

A great neighborhood grocery store with a huge selection of fresh vegetables and fruit. The best part is that it is open 24/7, meaning I dont have to worry about making it in before the store closes if I need some last-minute item.

I like the fresh food at this market and it is fun to shop at. However that also comes with price and in some cases the fresh food from the deli might look or sound good but doesnt really come through on the taste end.

Only place I can always find the gluten free food stuffs I need to eat. Found bean based cheese puffs that were great for the first time. Also only place that carries caffeine free Zevia cola and it was on sale!!!!

Could use a big update, then again had small varieties of everything you need (for a natural market). Like others tho, you cant get Advil or Tide. May or may not come as a surprise.
