After I discovered my daughter might have contracted head lice, I visited my usually helpful and friendly rite aid pharmacy; for help and the best treatment. One would have thought I said shed contracted small pox, with the way the staff responded. Of course I set along a path of self education, having not received anything helpful from my first resource. Head lice are contagious only by head to head contact. While I TRUELY and PERSONALLY understand the revolution, and instant panic it invokes; that is precisely the reason I need a rational, professional, and INFORMED opinion or direction. They quickly referred us to the readiclinic on site. Her revolution was even more so apparent. As a United State Marine I have not been that disrespected since boot camp. That every counter person can preach the importance of flu vaccinations, but even the highly trained medical professionals are ignorant of a very common ailment is very disappointing, and seems a gross disservice toward the image Id always thought rite-aid attempted to portray.

Service is spotty and variable- sometimes its very good, sometimes its pretty bad. They appear to have some difficulty in keeping current prescriptions straight and refuse to dispense medication because of their slow or out-of-date computer records. This ALWAYS means you have to call your doctors office and verify, then they call Rite-Aid, then Rite-Aid calls me ("Hey, your prescription is ready"), and thats *another* wasted trip to and from the pharmacy. If you DARE to call them and inquire about the mismatch or discrepancy they get very high-handed and condescending, like theyre doing you a huge favor to verify your meds. :( All in all, Im not too thrilled about Rite-Aid in Kenmore.

Horrible pharmacy. Surprised theyre still in business. Drive through was a joke and after 20 minutes of repeating myself and the pharmacist disappearing for 5 mins to then ask me to respell and repeat birth date (three times), I went inside. Then I had to start over. Then they told me they needed insurance info (wed been there before for the original subscription). Then it was going to be 30 mins to fill...even though it was called in advance this morning by the doctors. 28 minutes later, I received a call that they didnt even have the medicine. So, I just had everything transferred to Safeway.

These people are completely incompetent. I called to check if a prescription was ready, and they said my Dr. never sent it. So I messaged my Dr. to verify, she called the pharmacy, and they told her it was ready. I show up, they look for it for 10 minutes, then tell me, "we dont have enough". This is the second time I have arrived to pick up a prescription that was supposedly ready, only to be told they didnt actually have it. Heres an idea: if you dont have enough of something, how about you call the customer and tell them, so they dont waste their time! Absolutely infuriating.

I agree with the other drive up pharmacy complaints listed here. Its a complete joke. It was over 25 minute ordeal to fill one prescription! I even had to call the pharmacy so someone would help me after sitting there pushing the "Call" button and not getting a response. (I am a very patient person and willing to wait for help) I get if they are busy helping customers at the counter but you can at LEAST communicate that to the customer sitting in their car and not just ignore them. Looks like Ill be transferring my script elsewhere who gives a damn...

The pharmacist has poor communication skills. The Pretty Asian girl with glasses is really sweet but the old one with big hair is antagonistic and seems to have an agenda. Shes more concerned with creating challenges then what she was trained to do. She reminds me of someone in recovery who thinks all medications should be outlawed because its just so hard for her not to eat Vicodin. I go there for convenience and like I said, half the people I like and are actually useful. Just bag the hag and this pharmacy has potential.

The pharmacy women look at you and treat you as if any thing you approach there counter with a complete intrusion into there existence. Very off putting at times. I dont like them. The guys, 2 that I have interacted with have amazing people skills and approach any and all questions with a "lets get this figured out approach." That I like. Side note.... The manager guy up front on the rite aid side reminds me of Napoleon Dynamites older brother ....... Not a bad thing. Just sayin

I had to place a medication refill on Sunday 1/8/17, 1:40 PM at the pharmacy, and after 10 minutes being on hold, the pharmacists was so impatient and almost rude to listen. She hung up the phone before I completed my request and to find out about the follow up steps. I understand they are understaffed, but they also need to take a customer-relationship 101 training to take care of the basic phone request to complete orders.

If minus Zero was a choice? that would be it. Very rude. Prescription not ready and in wrong dosage and amount. Refused to give me my insurance discount saying I was already getting it...no...they did not even enter in my insurance card #. I was running late for work waiting so long, so i paid full price. Made me feel like I HAD TO APOLOGIZE for them screwing up. Not returning...

Rating two stars only because the store it self isnt so bad. However the pharmacy is a joke. There was a woman there who had waited an hour for her prescription. I myself waited about 30 mins when I decided to walk next store to safeway and just transfer my prescriptions. Standard wait time is 15 mins not an hour. I always expirence long waits only at this specific rite aid.

Dropped off an rx and they were unable to fill it quickly before I had to go to work. Thats understandable but it still wasnt filled when I came back the next day. The worst part for me is the awful perfume smell on my rx bottle. Disgusting. Im very sensitive to fragrances and pharmacists shouldnt come to work covered in perfume.

Want your prescription on time? Good customer service? To be told things that you may need to know in future, like you will need a new prescription for this, due to state law? Well dont ever go here - worst pharmacy ever. 3 times I have had to wait over 4 days for my prescription because they cant do their job.

Terrible customer service upfront. I love the pharmacy but I will be transferring everything after today. They do not mark their sales properly then become extremely rude when you contest their sale markings. Then checking out the lady was slow knowing she had 5 people in line. Unbelievably unprofessional!

Note: It closes at 9 pm not 10 pm. The prescriptions are never ready on time. I normally wait an extra 2-3 hours after they say I can put up my prescription and I still usually have to wait for the Pharmacist to quickly get it ready.

Prescription is NEVER ever ready on time. Not only that pharmacist and pharmacy tech have very poor customer service. Definitely switching elsewhere.
