This is the quickest, most efficient pharmacy Ive visited. For years I used the Greenwood Bartells and Walgreens, and initially only stopped in to the Safeway pharmacy when Bartells was out of something. I was so impressed with their customer service that Ive since switched everything over to Safeway and have never looked back. Ive never had to wait over 15-30 minutes for a prescription, regardless of how many people are waiting. They also fill prescriptions faxed in from my doctors office immediately- I cant count how many times I walked into Bartells to pick up a faxed in prescription to find they hadnt filled it yet, despite my calling ahead. Their pharmacists are wonderful and knowledgeable, and I love that they have a separate waiting room to sit in until your prescriptions are ready. The only downside is that it is a small pharmacy, so the two times that Ive been prescribed something obscure, it took a day for them to get the medication in. Luckily it wasnt anything I needed right away, and I try to be more aware to call ahead when I refill those.

I only use the Safeway Pharmacy because my insurance no longer covered Walgreens...ooooh how I miss Walgreens. If you dont call Safeway with good advanced notice then dont expect to get your script any time soon. No automatic refills, no check ins or reminders. Pretty much like using the pharmacy at the hospital with a shorter line. Its okay, but it could be a hell of a lot better. They should at least consider competing with the convenience offered by Walgreens/Bartells. CALL HOURS IN ADVANCE! then everything will be fine :)
