An exceptional variety of foodstuffs, services, and music/musicians, particularly for such a small town on a small Island! San Juan Pasta has an excellent selection of original ravioli; Federico Farms has topnotch jelly and salsa. The music ranges from pure percussion to solo balladeers to instrumental quartets to barbershop and an all-woman chorus. Services include information about low-cost housing, massage, voice lessons (The Owner of San Juan Past is also an accomplished classical music soloist and voice teacher.), and, and, and! Its only open from 10a - 1p, on Saturdays, so plan for that small time window!

The organic selection is sparse and when it comes to produce, the quality seems as if the product was the leftover selection, often wilted, bruised or otherwise undesirable. Where this place excels is in the quality of the service, the people are wonderful, they call you by name when possible. The inventory manager will order practically any product you request.

Off the main tourist area so not super crowded. Good selection of items, fresh produce. Downer is the hours. Banker hours and closed Sundays. Dont take amex, but neither does kings.
