My significant other was recommended a particular brand of shoe by his doctor and was told to come to this store. The store is set up nicely with nice display. They also have their product stacked under the shelves. A worker came over and asked if we needed help, we told her he needed a particular shoe in a particular size. We were told his feet would need to be "properly sized by one of their salespeople". We waited and I grabbed the shoe for his size from the boxes visible under the display. We were immediately approached with "Just so you know, we arent like those other stores where you can grab your own shoes. We grab them for you." There were no signs posting this policy, no information about seeing a salesperson for assistance, and product is openly (and messily) stacked. The woman came back and stated he needed to be properly sized for the shoe. She sized him TWO sizes smaller than what he wears, grabbed two of the wrong shoe, and argued about his feet. He ended up getting a pair of shoes (only a half size smaller than what he normally wears) but we wont be back.

excellent customer service i was originally searching for boots. then i saw good shoes with my size. the sales lady was very helpful. she measured my feet and made suggestions for boots too. there was sale and the boots that i wanted did not make my size. she made more helpful suggestions and helped me put my old shoes back on. my daughter also had good customer service and all the sales ladies are friendly and helpful. the owner must be proud as he also appeared friendly. my daughter bought my new shoes and i am pleased. i will return to this store!

A very busy store. Too busy. Did spend quality time to figure out my feet. Good selection of socks and inserts, but did not have my shoe size. Was convinced to buy a larger size.... I should not have done that. Cannot return as I got a spot on them during trial time.....I do not like the return policy or the "all sales final" stamped on receipt. I found another store in Kent I go to now. Better return policy there and just as knowledgeable and friendly.

Hmm, this place was recommended to me by a friend. They pretty much have one type of shoe by several vendors, extremely Orthopedic looking. I know some of these vendors have more stylish shoes, but these folks dont carry them. I also slowly browsed around 3 times in their store, finding one pair I did kind of like , but no sales person ever even said hi to me. I left empty-handed. I dont need shoes that bad.

Was in the Tacoma store, recently. The store manager, Cheri, was really rude! I left and found a great store in Lakewood, w/ the best service, and super nice owners! Ardessons, on Gravelly Lake Dr. Good selection, will do my business w/ them, from now on.

this is virtually the only place I get shoes. I need orthodics and quality shoes and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, sure Ive been in there when someone was having an off day - but dont we all have those?

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about shoes. I would recommend this place if you have foot problems. I already bought shoes here when my doctor sent me to them for new inserts after my surgery.

A little pricey but feet dont hurt anymore
