I always receive great help here which I generally need since I’m usually looking to improvise or repurpose something to solve an unconventional challenge. But I recently received exceptional service from an especially helpful employee by the name of Dan. I didn’t get his last name but he went above and beyond normal customer service to help me about 5 pm Friday, March 17th. I had just backed my SUV into the trash bin behind my apartment building shattering the rear window and needed a plastic sheet to cover it. He not only helped me find the correct item but he spent over 15 minutes helping me cover the gapping hole … all in the rain. There is no way I would have been able to do this by myself. It was truly a kind and very helpful gesture. Thank you Dan and EH&P!

Great having an old fashioned hardware store with helpful, knowledgeable staff (which Manager Fred keeps on their toes!) right in downtown Edmonds. My Mom moved to Edmonds from Arizona and this store has become our go-to place for things to keep her place in good repair. The True Value store near her AZ home was called "Handy Freds" - now her new True Value has its own Handy Fred!

Always friendly! Always know exactly what I need and where it is on the shelves. And, although the store is small, they always have what I need....how do they do that? Ive gone to the larger home improvement stores and they dont have what I need...but this smaller store does...Always?. Whats up with that? Great job guys, youre my first stop from now on!

Very friendly and competent with general hardware, and electrical specifically. Fred helped me select a box for mounting on existing drywall that was easy to use, rugged, and worked well for mounting electrical outlets with my outside generator. I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff at EHP.

You will get excellent customer service here. I had a strange project and needed certain size nuts and bolts. The staff helped me find the right ones and the total was about 1 dollar. A Great American business.
