These are fine folks that know beer and display passion about the craft beer industry. Other locations may have a decent selection of craft beers but not as good. Additionally, what sets The Better Beer Store apart is that there is always one, if not two, folks present that will gladly answer any question and offer their knowledge. Other so called local beer stores do not support their stock with an on-site knowledgeable assistance. I despise having questions that go unanswered when proprietors are not experienced or not present. This industry, and its offerings, is growing so fast it is really helpful to have a resource of good information. I make it a point to get to The Better Beer Store to buy my favorites and learn about new offerings; even when other so called beer stores are closer to my home.

Great selection of beer both in cans/bottles and available in growlers/crowlers. Tap list rotates well and generally has some really good Virginia brews. Kevin and Vicki are the nicest people youll ever meet and are passionate about good craft beer.

So many good beers! Bourbon barrels, stouts, imperial stouts. Moved to va from ia and found so many beers here that I could find on tap in Iowa but never in bottles and found so many beers ive never had before! :)
