After seeing SOO many good reviews about this place, my family and I decided to give it a go. BIG MISTAKE! The cashier had no idea what an americano was even though it was on the menu and spent the better portion of a minute trying to ring us up for latte. I ordered an iced coffee and it was absolutely terrible. Not fresh, bitter tasting, and undrinkable. The Americanos were not much better. The espresso tasted burnt and the ratio of shots to water was not right (too much water). I could forgive all of it if the donuts were any good, but of course, they were mediocre. Ive had better donuts from a gas station Dunkin Donuts. All the "icing" just tastes like straight sugar no matter what the flavor was. We were very dissappointed as we had been looking foward to trying this place out for a couple months now. We will not be coming here again.

While on vacation in Williamsburg, my significant other and I popped in, what appear to be an unassuming donut shop in a nondescript strip mall. We didnt expect much but boy were we suprised. These were the best donuts Ive ever had! Coming from Philadelphia, PA, my donut experiences begin and end with Dunkin Donuts, a popular chain in the area. Duck Donuts makes everything fresh to order and are steaming hot and crunchy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. Did I mention the have maple bacon with real bacon bits? Stellar!

What a totally awesome donut shop! The choices are infinite (you choose a flavor of donut, a flavor of icing and then add sprinkles) and when you place your order they make your donut right before your eyes! It doesnt get any fresher than that... Everything I ordered was great but the donut with the maple icing and bacon bits was my favorite of the day. If youre in town the Duck Donuts it THE place to stop for a quick breakfast.

What great donuts and great people!!! My siblings and I stopped in while on vacation and found ourselves back there 3 times!! The donuts are delicious, and the staff was wonderful. The owner, Amy came and visited with us about the shop, its history and the donut making process; she was a delight! She has trained her staff well, they were pleasant, and courteous even in the wee morning hours. A MUST VISIT!!

Interesting twist on donuts. The donuts are all fresh made in front of eyes and customized in your choice of glazes, toppings and drizzles. I would have loved to eaten them warm and fresh but we were full from lunch so we waited until the evening. I had ordered one with maple glaze and peanuts. Pretty good stuff. I imagine it wouldve been even better fresh off the fryer. Maybe next time Im in the area.

My husband and I fell in love with Duck Donuts at their OBX location in 2012. By the time the Williamsburg location opened we had just moved to Florida. Whenever we come back to visit family we make it a point to stop by for a little snack. The donuts are amazing and the people are awesome (Bill is the nicest man youll meet!). This place puts Dunkin Donuts Krispy cream to shame!

I dont understand how this place has such great reviews. I ordered half a dozen doughnuts and they werent good. They taste like I was eating a pound cake not a doughnut and the toppings and glazes just taste like straight sugar with no flavor despite what they call them. I get the novelty of seeing your doughnuts made in front of you but really these are not good.

There isnt a donut shop where you can get a more fresh and delicious donut than here. They fry them upon ordering, and flavor how you desire. There are so many different combination options as you get to pick your own glaze and topping to go on that. My personal favorite is the maple glaze and bacon topping. My husband and I regularly frequent this donut shop!

So delicious! Although they were supposed to close five mins earlier (3pm), they let me slide in for a couple of fresh tasty treats. Amy, the owner, was very kind and accommodating. I fist had these goodies in the OBX 7 months ago and Im so happy they are now in Williamsburg! A must have sweet for any visitor or local! Ill be back soon. And often! Enjoy:)

The most RIDICULOUS ordering process I have ever seen! I mean Its truly difficult to order these things. Then I ate one and felt much better. They are DELICIOUS but man seriously please go back to the drawing board with the ordering process, all of the options arent even on the huge order form you need to fill out...full belly frustrated head.

The best cake donuts ever. No need for a light to tell you when fresh donuts are being made. Here at Duck Donuts their small but efficient donut operation means that every order is hot and fresh. I typically prefer yeast donuts to cake donuts, but these were fantastic and the toppings and glazes were tasty and original.

Oh my goodness. Just hot deliciousness! Id never been to a Duck Doughnuts but my daughter wanted to go here after eloping. So I guess doughnuts were kind of like her wedding cake. Im so glad we went. Its a laid back friendly atmosphere and I also liked that they had tiny rubber ducks for a reasonable price.

The doughnuts are good. Theyre on the oily, sweet and soft side of the spectrum. They were good, but only four stars because I prefer a firmer, less sweet doughnut. I am spoiled by a doughnut shop near my house which is run by Korean Doughnut Gods. But Duck is worth a try in case its exactly what you like.

Wow! Theres no competition! Duck Donuts beats the filling out of the other donuts in town. Would you rather spend your morning Dunkin your donut in your coffee because its stale? Or would you rather eat a fresh, made-to-order angels halo? If you said "halo" you need a Duck Donut.

Good donuts, what you would expect from the duck donuts brand. Nice location too, seemed to be the trendy spot to hang when I went on a Saturday morning. I didnt have the coffee, but I saw someone bring a cup of Donuts donuts coffee to have with their duck donuts, which seemed weird.

Amazing!!! These were some of the most amazing donuts Ive ever had. The Maple Bacon donuts is the best in my opinion. You get a fresh donut and you get to top it with an icing and different toppings and drizzle! The staff was fast and had great service! 5 stars for Duck Donuts!

Ive seen advertisements for the duck donuts in the outer banks of NC but never had the time to stop. While in Williamsburg recently, I finally stopped and tried them. Theyre made to order, so hot, soft and delicious! They were even still good reheated at home the next day!

Best donuts in all of Williamsburg. They are hot, made-to-order, and they will fill you up! My daughter and I often go here and we have gotten to know some of their wonderful staff. Their customer service is great - always quick and friendly. We love this place!!!

What an amazing spot! The maple bacon and chocolate coconut doughnuts were AMAZING! Everything is very clean and the staff couldnt be more friendly. The breakfast sandwich was pretty good too. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or a sweet treat anytime!
