Ive been here a couple times out of convenience since its by my house. I understand that there is a significant markup since its not the post office, but this place is under the worst ownership. The owner, older Asian man, is so very rude and a crook. I come in asking for flat rate boxes, knowing what the cost will be, and he tells me I do not need this package and offers me a different package... Which apparently cost more. He is trying to tell me they dont have the particular box I am looking for and after I let him know that Ive gotten them there before (they keep them in the back away from customers) he finally goes to the back of the store to get what I need. After much confusion and finally producing the boxes I am seeking, he keeps shaking his head and arguing with me unnecessarily saying that the boxes Ive asked for are going to cost me more even... I tell him these are flat rate boxes and he seems pissed off and completely cuts contact with me. I ask to use some tape that is sitting right in front of me on the counter to close the unassembled boxes for shipping and he refuses and tells me I have to buy a roll from the wall if I want some tape.... Really dude?! I actually ask him if he is serious about this, and he doesnt respond before telling me that I need to go to a post office-- who says this to a paying customer?! To add insult to injury- when I walked into the store, the old man was helping a customer before me and told them that the computers were down and his bill of $85 could be settled next time... Before I even started my transaction, I let the owner know I was paying cash and wouldnt have an issue... I just cant believe he treated me so differently from the man I was standing behind initially, and especially because my own bill was going to be a bit hefty since I was mailing things overseas.. I will never be going no back to this location and the longer drive to the post office has never been more worth it!

Worst Customer Service ever and way overpriced for a local post net place. I understand I have to pay a little extra because they are not the post office. However, the guy with glasses, dark hair & accent is the rudest person ever. Assuming he is the owner. He is very snippy and short and no help with explaining anything. The same package that was $4.15 at the post office, they charge like $10.00! When I asked why so much, his poor attitude was basically take it or leave it lady, I need to get to the next customer in line. They act like they dont want you in the store or your bothering them or something. Felt uncomfortable. If I am at your place of business and lets say I pay you 1 cents, that is 1 cent you did not have yesterday. He treated the lady in front me very kindly. They should treat all customers fairly or do not business at all. I am very lightly spoken person and was very cordial. A lady came in behind me in the line she wanted to get a mailbox, the guy told her she has to wait after all customers for help. Uhh Hello, she wants to be your customer. The lady walked out! No customer services skills and would not recommend this place. I have since moved my business to UPS in Ashburn or by the Home Depot, they are very nice and courteous and act like they want my business. This is my 2nd visit and I would never return to this place. I have since then told my husband and family to avoid this place and my friends in Stone Ridge & Aldie. I have lived in Aldie for over 15 years & by far worst customer service I have experienced. Dont waste your time here, unless you like rude people and want to get overcharged!

I needed to ship a package and since I dropped several prepaid packages off at this location previously, I decided to go in and have them ship this package for me. WELL, do not ever ever ever do this. You will be taken advantage of. I knew exactly how much the shipping SHOULD have cost. $17.43 via FedEx ground. When the salesman, I refuse to call him a gentleman, told me prices they were in the $30s and $40s. I can see a slight surcharge or mark up but double the price is insane! I am not THAT insane. I questioned him as to why it was so much more than what I was quoted online. He stammered a bit, his smile faded a tad and he told me he would give me a discount on this package since I was so kind. ARE YOU JOKING?!!! Yes, I was polite as you were trying to stick it to me. I made it clear I was not going to pay that amount when I could purchase the shipping from home for much less. He (Mr. Young Kim) ended up charging me $27.74. Still over $10.00 of the rate I was quoted from FedEx. I did pay it. But I can guarantee you Mr. Young Kim, it will never ever ever happen again. Also, I called FedEx and your World Headquarters to let them know how you practice business. Have fun spending the last penny you will ever see from me again!

I wonder how previous reviewers could have such a different experience than I with this business. I have to conclude these are anomalies more reflective of the reviewer than of the owner. Mr. Young Kim is possibly one of the kindest and gentlest souls you will meet in running a place of business. He has always gone above and beyond in helping my wife and I with our various printing needs, to include large jobs. We have become regular customers and can cast additional light on the "pay me later" comment another reviewer mentioned. When Mr. Kim is busy, he will sometimes quickly service a regular customer that has a quick need and tell them they can settle up later so they can leave while he tends to other customers. This "honor system" approach is something to be applauded and is a reflection of how Mr. Kim treats people. If you live in this area, you cant beat the convenience and the customer service. We have never had anything but the most positive experience with this business. Highly recommend.

I like to support local businesses when feasible and will pay a reasonable premium to do so. Next time I will go to the post office directly and avoid this PostNet. I have had a my concerns with costs at this location before. We were over charged for a simple shipping of a the USPS Flat Rate Box. I have family on the opposite coast and they send us these boxes regularly. I have noted the shipping to be about $13-14 US when my family sends boxes to us. Despite prior concerns with cost I decided to ship from this PostNet for two boxes. We shipped from the Stone Ridge PostNet to Salt Lake City and Phoenix. We were charged $24 for each Medium Flat Rate box, my mistake. If I had traveled 5 miles down the road to our local post office this would have cost us only $13. I would have been happy to pay an extra $2-$3, but a $10 premium is seldom worth it, I would have used UPS or FedEx at that rate frankly.
