Worst Pharmacy experience ever. Gave me a prescription without asking for my insurance (which is on file) and proceeded to charge me almost $100 for what should have been covered by my prescription plan. Called, drove all the way back to the store for the refund they said they would process upon my return. Waiting for a refund they discover a discrepancy in my date of birth, had to return the next day as the doctors office was closed and they couldnt verify my information. This didnt stop them from giving me the prescription, charging me and not asking if I had insurance... Just from processing the refund. To add insult to injury, one of the ladies there starting harassing me that I was making other customers wait when she wasnt even involved in what was going on. Totally unprofessional, and perhaps she had forgotten that I too was a customer. It did get resolved but it took over two and a half hours of my time and rude treatment (not by the lady that DID help me) from the staff in the process. Get your RX filled somewhere else.

I need multiple prescriptions refilled every month, and Purcellville Rite Aid has done a great job always getting them filled very quickly and accurately. Ive been using Purcellville Rite Aid as my primary pharmacy for nearing two years now, and not once have I encountered any problems that were Rite Aids fault. (My insurance and one of my doctors on the other hand...) For years I used to use Giant Pharmacy instead and encountered prescription refill problems almost every month, so my only regret with Rite Aid is that I didnt switch sooner. Thank you to Purcellville Rite Aid for always giving great pharmacy service; your dependability has cut monthly refill stress out of my life!

if i could i would rate zero stars. Tried talking to all of the pharmacists and they were all very rude and didnt know what they were doing. when i asked if they could do a pharmacy over ride like every other normal functioning pharmacist does they just gave me my papers and said "we cant do nothing take this and go away" i am completely baffled on what terrible customer service i have came across today. Your pharmacists didnt even know how to do a pharmacy over ride. Get new pharmacists cause they all suck.

Came 15 minutes before they closed and they locked the doors. When i banged on the doors, the employees who were chatting told me the registers said it was 10. I get they wanted to leave on time, but i was getting one thing... thanks for nothing :)

They were fine. Looked newly renovated, so was pleasing to the eye.
