I am a fellow retail worker and have been with my company for 10+ years now I am a manger of my store and pride myself on customer service along with helping my fellow retailers when in need. The store at Patrick Henry Mall in Newport news VA has now disturbed me twice. Ive been in as a customer and one of the male managers was in no hurry to help me as he was straightening a table, I was inquiring about a specific shirt online with a picture and he said the last one was on a mannequin I asked if I could have it since it was my size and he was not willing to take it off for me, whether this is a company standard he was very rude about it and basically acted like I was wasting his time, now personally I would have tried showing a customer something as similar as possible so I wouldnt lose a sale as well as making the customers day. Ive been in a few times since then and not one of the associates or managers has spoken to me or even helped me when I asked questions. On another level I was in need of some shipment boxes to send some items out of our store when we asked they told my associate "we arent in the business of giving away free boxes" now Im livid these are boxes you will be throwing away at the end of the night and you arent willing to help a fellow retailer out. I will make sure Im warning every customer not to go to this location unless you want to be treated like dirt. I am highly upset by the experience I have had in this store and they need a major overhaul on the entire management team and associate team.

This place has gotten SO MUCH BETTER since about 2 years ago. The management looks like they are about their customers, the store actually is shopable, and I even mean the plus dept. the only thing is that young adults work here and its always rare to find one that gives a damn about a retail job...
