In terms of overall atmosphere (but not necessarily foods), this Farm Fresh is definitely taking aim at the trendy Whole Foods/Wegmans/etc type grocers with the decor of the produce and meats departments. They have a counter and mini salad bars (was it an olive bar?) for ready-to-eat lunches or dinners. Checkout lines may leave you with only one or two available choices at any given time, and the staff should be decently friendly. But lets point out the best part of Farm Fresh vs, say, Food Lion ... theres a beer ROOM! Many more selections available and theres also quite an expansive wine area too outside of it.

Good basic grocery store. Space isnt wasted on seasonal merchandise and bookstore section like larger stores. Instead, theres a good selection of produce and staples. Friendly staff at hot food section, bakery, and new seafood counter. Take and cook at home offerings near the front door. Decent wine and beer area.

Went in for Steamed shrimp..... had about 15 minute wait to place our order and about 20 mins before order was ready.... if they had more than 1 staff member working it would not have been such a long wait time....all other shopping and check out went smoothly and quickly! Oh and the shrimp was cooked perfectly.

Apparently farm fresh must get a gas shipment in everyday to every other day. One day its 2.09 the next day its 2.21 then the next day its 2.27, and sometimes they must get shipments on late Sunday because next thing Monday morning price is up. Im surrrreee there not just raising the price cause they want to.

The produce section does not stock fresh or appealing food. Really could do much better in this department. Add some goat milk products too. Ive tried shopping in this store three times hoping find better produce. I wont be back.

Farm Fresh is part of a local chain of grocery stores. They have a great selection and competitive prices. Loyalty cards are not required. Staff is well trained and polite.
