Great store. Food is not more expensive than any other Giant. It certainly is not higher than Safeway! That store is ridiculously high except for their frozen entrees which beat out Giant. But this Giant beats out the one on Forest Drive in Parole as far as the self scan check out. When you finish scanning the holders for the spent scanners are right at the register while at Riva you may have to search for the nearest holder. Also this store seems cleaner than the Parole location. I have not yet tried the pharmacy but even if it is a little faster than the Parole store, it would be a blessing. I have waited at least an hourany times and sometimes even when the prescriptions were called in or sent electronically from my Drs office. Really frustrating. Especially when one is not feeling well!

Nowadays, grocery stores, supermarkets, dont have the breadth of selection they once had. This Giant is no exception. But its not bad for a local supermarket, especially in combination with its competitors like Whole Foods and Trader Joes. Between the three, you can generally get what you need.

During the huge storm last night, the Giant staff were amazing. We were met at the door by Giant staff. They offered umbrellas, told us to drive our cars to the door. They loaded our dry groceries into our cars. The staff are always helpful. This was over the top!

never have the starbucks ice coffee I like. always out. months now this has gone on. last time they said they found out what happened and fixed the issue. NOT. someone lied. order MORE of it I guess, fix the problem. keep the stuff in stock.

A proxuce worker named Rick was incredibly polite and helpful when our son was having a tantrum. He offered some sugar free jello and calmed him right down. We were surprised how much he tried to help us and the level of respect he gave.

Except for the meat department, its a pretty good store. The meat department leaves much to be desired. No custom cuts, everything arrives pre-packaged. Might be good for their bottom line but Id give up meet before buying it from them.
