Disclaimer: I love all of the other CHKD Thrift Stores and have been a long-time supporter of their mission. With that being said, I will not return to this particular location due to a rude manager. I inquired with a store associate about the turnaround pricing time on an item that had just been donated, and was told to ask the manager as she may be able to price it in a few. The manager comes out, and I ask (while pointing at the coffee table next to me) about the turnaround pricing on it. She says the table and two chairs need to be sanitized. I dont see 2 chairs. Another customer tried to intervene and explain that I was asking about the sole coffee table, and the manager snapped at the other customer with "Im talking to her and handling it!" I just walked off to browse. I come back and shes asking if I want "the table and two chairs" and I said it depends on the price since Im not looking for chairs. I then asked what the chairs looked like, and realized she was talking about a whole dining set also donated by the same person and not the sole coffee table I was asking about. I start to walk back over and shes rudely talking about me to another associate and customer like Im some kind of scammer trying to get a whole dining set for $20! I tried to apologize for the misunderstanding and got brushed off. She begrudgingly went to the back without apologizing for the miscommunication or behavior on her behalf. Foolishly, I was still willing to buy the table, but she just called from the back with a price instead of coming out and talking to me. I wouldve bought the coffee table but its the principle of her attitude and service being horrible so I left empty handed. Id rather donate the price of the coffee table AND dining set directly to CHKD and not return to the store.

This place is hit and miss for me sometimes I find treasures sometimes I dont... My only complaint is its not a whole lot of space to move around it feels very claustrophobic

It has an okay selection with decent pricing on items but the furniture and clothing tends to be in worse shape or dirtier than Goodwill
