This is a store where I generally only look at the .99 and 1.99 sections. There are too many high and sometimes "odd" prices in this store. For example, if I know an items is a Dollar Tree item and its $2-3, I shake my head. You CAN find a great deal here, but you may have to wait for it. Sometimes I never know if Im going to find anything. There are some reasonable prices, but you have to look through the racks. It will depend on what you are looking for. I can say I agree with all of the previous recommendations. Just like all the DAVs, if theres no price, it goes to the back. I gave up asking a couple years ago for a further discount on the higher price items that say, are occasionally pretty damaged. I just tell the folks and take it to them. The rules are followed very carefully at this store, and I hear AT LEAST ONCE per visit, some "louder than whisper, passive aggressive voice" comment about the prices being outrageous. But I do still see those folks finding SOMETHING to satiate them when I see them at the register. There is a new TJMaxx down the road about 3/4 mile in the Walmart shopping center now, sooooooo... maybe well see some of those "odd little HIGH priced items" a little more reasonably priced. At this time, TJ Maxx has more of my attention with lower priced NEW items than this shop. Sure, I could shop this DAV because it partially benefits its veterans, but most of the time, Id rather donate cash to the more local groups where I know it wont go through the corporate rigmarole.... THE BEST PART OF THIS STORE: The staff is amazing. ALWAYS super nice. NEVER ever had a grumpy person address me EVER. AND they are always helpful to me. So despite the pricing rules... the workers are the main reason I come back. THREE STARS ONLY because of the wonderful staff. Had this store not had a great staff, I would have given it only a HALF a star if I could... The occasional deals are just a bonus...

This prices at this place are absolutely ridiculous. I was in there looking for halloween costume ideas and found myself surrounded by old, tacky, used clothing- exactly what I was looking for. I was not, however, looking to pay retail or more for this junk! There was a jacket in there I bought a year ago for $15. It was $25 at this "thrift" store!! They had some absolutely horrid "prom" dresses; one made of velor and glitter stuck on w/ elmers glue, complete with holes, for $39!!! A lot of the halloween costumes are more expensive than new ones at walmart. I dont know what kind of idiot does the pricing here, but you can get brand new stuff at TJ Maxx for cheaper.

I can only congratulate to who ever responsible for pricing ! ...........This store should HELP people in need, but how you expecting money flow if you keep "valued customers " away with your REDICOULOUS prices. GREED IT IS !!! AND YOU SOPPOSE TO HELP ???? Thank you.

Ever! 4 old used cabinet knobs were $6.99 at fan thrift in Richmond they would have been .99 cents. thats why fan thrift has 4 cash registers for checkout, often all 4 are open for checkout with lines versus the D.A.V.s 2 cash registers.Lower prices, turn over more merchandise.

This thrift store is the best. Tons of name brands such as J Crew, Ann Taylor, J Jill, Banana Republic. Pants can start out around $8.96 and then are marked down every week. I am finding it hard to buy clothes at the mall since visiting this thrift store.

I love the selection and they have a lot of variety, but I am going to have to agree with everyone else.. its just to expensive. Jeans were $10.. and a pair of boots were $60.

They are great for finding inexpensive items when someone is on a budget. They also accept donations that are tax deductible.

I usually find good stuff here. The staff if friendly, and the proceeds go to a good cause.
