Do not use these folks. I visited this boutique a few months ago when I began planning my wedding. The "gentleman" that greeted me said he would answer any of my questions. I mentioned that my wedding was set for the summer of 2018, which was a full year and a half away at the time. Thats when the problems began. He proceeded to belittle me over and over again as loudly as possible. He also called me, among other insults, a "moron" for planning so early. This was even after I mentioned that I have family in the military, so planning ahead is important. He continued to make sexist comments about women and weddings. At that point, Id had enough and excused myself. As I proceeded to leave, I overheard this individual making rude comments loudly to his customers. Saying "Sorry that took so long, some idiot is already planning a wedding that isnt for another year and a half." Mind you, I held my tongue as much as possible. All I wanted to get was a general idea of dress costs and simple styles to help set my budget. I sent a message to the company a few hours after the incident, providing an even more detailed description of what happened. They did not even have the decency to give any indication that the issue would be addressed. Id been reticent about posting a review for this horrible place directly, but I just learned that my brother is being deployed to Iraq in a few weeks and needed to indicate to his superiors when hed be available to leave for a six month tour within the next twelve months. Hell be missing his both of his daughters birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas. All of this to be able to attend the wedding that "I was stupid to start planning so early."

I wish I could give this place no stars. Very dumpy looking. This is the place the bride selected so we had to get our dresses here. Found our dresses on the first day with out any help from the staff. It had a corset back which would have been nice to have been shown by the staff how to lace it but they NEVER came back to check on us. 10 weeks later our dresses finally arrived. Called the seamstress they recommended, which I should have never done, to schedule a time for a fitting. At the fitting there was still was no help from the staff. The dress hems werent level so my hem is a little uneven, totally worth the $200. When another one of the girls tried her dress on there was a random piece of green fabric stitched on to the breast of the marlow colored dress. I guess that was a bonus. Asked the seamstress to remove it when she does the hem. So a few weeks later I drive an hour to go pick up my dress from I Thee Wed Cheaply and guess what, it was not ready, hem was not finished and it wasnt pressed. Claudette the seamstress asked when I could come back to pick it up. The wedding is in two weeks and I live a hour away, there is no time. How hard is it the do a hem when you ate given a month! So I asked another person in the bridal party to pick it up. Then i noticed on my friends dress there was still that green piece of fabic. I reminded her to remove it or she would upset. I talked to my friend today when she went to pick up our dresses and the green piece was still there! How hard is it to remove that! This place is a joke. The customer service is lacking in many ways. I would NEVER go back here.

MY sister-in-law told me about this place because this is where she found and bought her dream dress. When she took me here, I was a little worried about price since they arent a huge store and because I was on a tight budget of $500, but hoping to only spend $300. I had found 2 dresses at Davids Bridal that I really, really liked, even loved, but the quality of dress was terrible. The fabric was so see-through, you could see all the seams all the way down the dress and it just ruined it for me. I would have stopped shopping then and bought that dress, but I just couldnt get over how crappy the quality was. So when I went here, I was determined to find at least one dress! I found THE ONE and I couldnt be happier! They gave me a good deal on it and it is HIGH quality fabric!!! I cant wait to wear it on my wedding day! Im so lucky and happy that my sister-in-law told me about this place and was nice enough to take me there! The total was $579, so I paid $500 and my sister-in-law paid the other $79 because she was just so happy that I found the dress!!! I would recommend this boutique to anyone! They have a lot of nice dresses for decent prices (depending on your budget of course), and they dont hound you like most dress shops do. I am extrememly picky and take my time with this kind of thing. I tried on a few dresses and probably stood infront of the mirror with this one on for over an hour and then I RE-TRIED it on that same day and the next day. Everyone should at least visit this place, its a nice atmosphere and a lovely shop!

I didnt buy my dress here, but chose to have them preserve it since they seemed like a reliable and known company. They charged double what some of the other stores, but again, I wanted to make sure my dress was in trusted hands. They told me it would take about a month to get back. A month and a half passed so I called to see where it was. They said they had it (I never received a call or a message). I went to pick it up and when I opened the box IT WAS NOT MY DRESS! I was so shocked and almost started crying and the sales rep had the nerve to ask "are you sure its not your dress?" She didnt apologize and just said she would call first thing on Monday (I went to pick it up on a Saturday). Monday morning rolled around and I called the preservation company myself to find out I Thee Wed switched names on the dresses and my dress was at the preservation shop. I Thee Wed called me about an hour later to say they found the dress was switched. I finally got it back a few weeks later. No real apology, no refund or discount. It was the most frustrating and upsetting issue I dealt with through my 2 years of wedding planning. I would not trust my dress with them. And if you do get your dress preserved, take a picture of it and leave it with them so you dont have to experience the same awful horror that I did. Yes, mistakes happen. Its how you handle them that makes a difference. I felt as though they could care less about me or my dress, which is not how a bride should ever feel.

Everyone at I Thee Wed has been so friendly & kind during my wedding planning. They offer great customer service, remember you when you come back in and do their very best to help you- they also are not pushy or pretentious. They seem sincerely excited for you and offer a very personal shopping experience. While other places advertise "$99 dresses" & such, I found that dresses comparable to the one I bought at I Thee Wed were about the same price (sometimes more!) in the "bargain chains" (in other words, you could get lucky- but dont count on the dress you like to be $99 when you get to those places, some are, but many are NOT even close)- plus, I Thee Wed is just a better dress-buying experience overall! They have lots of classic & new styles to choose from & will order other dresses for you even if they dont have one in the store- I bought a "Spring 2010" dress in February 10 that according to the dress-maker website, was not expected in stores until March- I also got 20% off because I was able to buy the one off the rack- it had not been tried on by anyone else & regardless, they steam & clean any dress you buy there for free prior to your big day. Definitely go in there & give this local shop a chance before you spend time & money to travel elsewhere!
