Several years ago, I went in with a heel that needed a replacement. What I was asking for was simple, but the female owner refused and said I could hold her liable had I slipped and fell....OK? Being that there arent many shoe specialty shops or repair shops in the area, I begrudgingly visited here last month needing another repair, hoping the attitude and ownership had changed. Went it with a busted zipper on a boot and the same female owner was there. She basically looked at the boot, handed it back to me and told me there was nothing she could do. She acted like I was bothering her by gracing her doorway. I dont understand why they advertise boot repair when they flat out want no parts of doing repairs. There was a cobbler in Culpeper many years ago who could fix any shoe, a zipper, stretch a boot, etc. Im surprised this business has lasted this long in this area. Their days in business are numbered with the poor attitude and lack of customer service.

Had them repair some Keens that just needed stitches together. The repair was very unprofessional for several reasons. The thread wasnt close on color to my shoe, it looked like a child did the stitching, and some places were still ripped. When I pulled on a thread the entire repair came undone. I took them back in but was told that was all they could do unless I wanted to pay more for a patch. After the previous repair I wasnt willing to risk it. Will never return.

I have been buying my boots and have had all my repairs done here for almost 20 years. Linda knows more about boots than anyone I know. As to repairs, if it can be fixed they can fix it. If they do not think the fix is worth it or will not hold up, they wont waste your money. Not all things can be fixed even if the layman thinks it can be. They tell it like it is.

Linda (the owner) is an amazing sells lady. She really knows her game when it comes to boots. She is a very honest woman. Some may take this in a negative way but shes very up front very outgoing. My family has to come here a few times a year for good quality boots!
