This place is absolutely horrible. My wife and I had been going to the Dominion Eye Care office at Janaf, and they were wonderful. The doctors were very knowledgeable and all of the staff was very helpful. But, we decided to try their Greenbrier location because it was a much better location for us after we moved. My wife has needed vision correction for about 20 years, and she says that this place is the worst she has ever been to. The doctor didnt seem caring, and really seemed to be lost for the most part. Probably because they decided to get a baseline from my wifes 6 year old glasses prescription instead of having our records faxed over from the Janaf location, which we asked them to do twice prior to our appointment. But the real problem we had with them was AFTER our appointment. We were told that they would have to contact our insurance to get pre-approval for our lenses (as is standard procedure), and would let us know when they came in. However, after a week we hadnt heard anything so my wife called to follow up and check the status of her new lenses. Whomever she talked to said that the only person in the office that could do that was out at the moment, but that they would call us back. Well, they finally called us back 3 days later and informed us that they had gotten the pre-approval from the insurance and told us what our out-of-pocket expense would be. We went another week without hearing anything, so my wife called back to see when they were expecting her new lenses to arrive, and they told her that they were still waiting to get pre-approval from the insurance. This of course, is now 2 and a half weeks after our appointment! AND after they had already told us they had the approval! Were still waiting for our lenses to come in. The only reason we havent canceled everything is because we cant afford to lose any more time on this. But we will NEVER go back to this office again! We will simply make the 45 minute drive to the JANAF location. I can easily overlook the hour and a half round trip drive if it saves us three weeks worth of our time.

When I walked in to inquire if my insurance was accepted (and told yes), I was then told I had to call to make an appointment while I was standing at the desk. You have to leave a message (which I did), and did not receive a call back after a week. So I tried again....still no call back after a week. If this is any indication of how my eyes will be treated, I am looking for another office.

Dr. Fusco is thorough and timely with his examinations. I appreciate that he double checks my eyes to ensure I have the most accurate prescription. The staff up front are cordial and friendly.

I go to Dominion annually for checkups. They are quick and efficient and when I went in there not knowing if I had insurance they were able to find it and save me some money.
