Worst K-Mart store ever, with rude staff/managers. Got a gift card for Christmas and tried to buy an Xbox at my local k-mart. The electronics area was empty and the xbox were locked up. It took me 20 minutes to find someone to help me (finally after I waited in-line for someone at customer service to help.) I would of walked out if not for the gift card. I asked about their return policy, the electronics employee was very rude and said I could not return the XBox after I bought it. So in response, I asked about what if the XBox was defective, guess what they answered. They said it is impossible for the Xbox to be defective and there is a 0% chance. This was unbelievable. The final straw was when they said they couldnt get the gift card to work, they said they saw the balance but it didnt work. What does that even mean? I first called the Manager, and the Manager let an employee make a purchase ahead of me when though I was there before her and after that even let the cashier clock out and switch cashier. And continued chatting with the employee before attempting my GC and saying it doesnt work. Wow, do I have all the time in the world for you? Frustrated, I called the customer service line on the back on the gift card and the K-mart GC customer service rep on the phone was eager to resolve it with the cashier and me to get the GC working. However the cashier needed the managers authorization and when the cashier called up the manager, the manager refused to help. Saying she cant help me. How outrageous is that? Leaving me nor the rep on the CS line unable to do anything at all. The Kmart rep suggested me going to another k-mart to go to another store. After wasting more than 1 hour, close to 2 hours at that K-mart, I walked out completely disgusted by that K-mart and my un-used gift card. I decided to give K-mart another try at another location. So I went over to the K-mart near HW66 (4080 Jermantown Road). The electronics person was there right on the spot and was helpful. He explained the 30 days return policy if x-box was un-opened and exchange if it was defective. The gift card amazing worked with no problems here and I was in and out of the k-mart within 5 minutes. I highly DO NOT recommend to go to the kmart on John Marr drive. You will be treated very rudely and they will make you wait forever, and in the end REFUSE to help you. You will waste time and and get the worst shopping experience ever.

Just now walked out. I was going to get my kids a snack while I picked up a few things for our new home. Went up to the Little Caesars counter and the lady asks me "you want something". Caught me by surprise because I expect can I help you or at the very least a hello. I notice the credit card machine reads closed so I give her the benefit of the doubt and ask if she is opened and points up and says "the light is on so yeah Im open" to which I take a minute and think this lady has got to be joking no one is this rude she will laugh in a minute. She doesnt instead she says "Are you gonna get something"? So I said you know nevermind no thanks. She turns and says alright. I walk to a register ask for a manager to talk to wait 10- 15 min and the manager never comes and I tell the cashier you know what its fine I wont be back to which she says shes right there at the exit talking if you want to talk to her. Really!?! Umm No thank you! Ill find some other place to shop that has better customer service! Thank you but no thank you.

I think this is the last time I ever shop at a Kmart. I brought in a print out of the item that I wanted to purchase (I could have ordered it online and had it delivered free to my house for that low price). They said that was the Internet price, not the in-store price. The manager would not honor the Internet price. I could have ordered the items and picked them up then and there with my Android phone, but Id rather pay for my stuff at some other store. BTW - I shopped at Kmart in the early 90s and wouldnt you know it, they still use the same archaic system of punching in the long code number of an item when it doesnt come up in the scanner, which it doesnt do a high percentage of the time. Get with the times Kmart and do whats right to your customers!

I understand now why Kmart is progressing towards bankruptcy and eventually go out of business. Customer service is horrendous. I received emails that my online orders are ready to pick up, but it takes over 20 minutes of me waiting for the customer service rep to find my orders. Why does it take so long if my order is ready to pick up? I dont plan to purchase anything ever again from here. Another thing that happened was that the cash register spontaneously rebooted then it took over 10 minutes to boot back up when I was trying to return something. This was incredibly frustrating for me and everyone behind me. Basically I spent over an hour to return an item and pick up my online orders. I will never shop at kmart again.

We shop here often. Its clean and the staff are polite. The only problem we had was recently when we bought a cell phone. We bought the extended warranty because the cashier said it would cover you if you dropped it and cracked the screen. We contacted the kmart warranty department when my wife inevitably dropped the phone, and we found that the warranty only covers manufacturers defects. The cashier, Im sure, was not lying to us. Its just a training issue at the store. They should make sure their staff understands what they are selling with the extended coverage. Other than this experience, we like this Kmart.

I like and hate this kmart depending on what Im looking for. Theyre girls clothing section is just awful, but the boys and toddler clothing is decent for inexpensive options. Unfortunately my daughter grew out of the toddler section and I have not found any article of clothing in the girls section suitable. Generally checkout takes forever (if youre the third person in line it often takes 10-15 minutes), but they have gotten a little better lately. The store isnt particularly well organized, but its relatively clean.

The Manager named Adel stole time and change from a customer and refused to help customers. Very lazy. We arent living in a socialist nation. Kmart has no right to steal money from customers no matter how much. The are so many college aged people working there that are clearly better leaders than these incompetent "managers" who should be fired ! No wonder kmarts are closing nation wide !

Not sure why they have employees here. It is frustrating and useless to ask anyone here a question. The service is non-existent and the people are rude. Im sorry you work at Kmart, but I did not fill out your application for you and force you to work there; you did that.
