Cute little thrift shop that benefits the local blind! Its pretty awesome. Theres a ton of random things on the first floor, such as plates, paintings, chairs, old games, kids toys etc. Tons of books too! Then you can head up tot he 2nd floor for clothing, shoes, and bags. I found this sweet National Geographic bag. Its like a satchel bag. Its my #1 boo now days. Also, for 6$, it came with a knife! I didnt even know about the knife until about 4 hours later! WIN!

Not sure who Cookie is but I will never step foot in the store again because of the rudeness and superior tone and attitude of her treatment of me and publically attemptig to embarass me in the store. I was with a child and felt I had to respond to her rude comments but failed to do so because of the children involved. She should be reprimanded or fired at the very least. I will be speaking to the Alexandria City Council about this.

Right in the middle of Old Town - surrounded by classy shops and restaurants. You can bring donations in and get a receipt -- very easy. Books are great. Clothes are upstairs now. Its fun to look and I almost always find something to pick up to help the cause.

You might have to look around a bit, but theres always good bargains to be found. Specifically, theres gems in the book section. Their staff/volunteers are always extremely kind & helpful.
