Barato si, bueno no tanto!!

Amazing prices on fresh produce, staff are usually friendly, however, cross contamination is a big issue here. The employees that work with raw meats (pork, beef, chicken) do not seem to be trained on cross contamination. They put on their gloves and I ask them for beef and they bag the beef. Then I ask for chicken and they do not change their gloves. They touch the chicken with the same gloves that they touched the beef with causing cross contamination. Also, when I asked how much a whole chicken weighed the employee just slapped a whole chicken on top of the scale without putting a bag on it so that it didnt touch and contaminate the scale. There is so much cross contamination going on here that I recommend cooking your meat extra longer to avoid contracting a bacteria and getting food poisoning.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was waiting for the bathroom and the maintenance lady came and hit the door with the broom stick. When the other person came out it turns out it was an employee (Carmen the Cashier). She started telling me so many bad words and I didnt even have the chance to reply to her and let her know it wasnt me that hit the door. I hurried and went in the bathroom to find out she peed all over the toilet and floor. I find customer service and cleanliness very important. I asked for Carmens name to do this review and she lied about it. The name Carmen was on her name tag and also appeared on the bottom of my receipt. Bottom line awful person! I will sure tell all my Family and friends to not go here.

I was reluctant to post a review, for selfish reasons, because I wanted to keep this place a secret. But my consience told me it would be wrong to withhold this gem from others. Rancho Market has the best produce at prices that are unbelievable. Apples, oranges, avacados, papaya, mangos, pineapple, cherries and fruits Ive never seen before are readily available here and at the lowest prices imaginable. This place is amazing. I dont know how they turn a profit, but Ill take it. As anywhere, bring your own reusable bags for checkout, if youre like me and want to reduce the use of plastic bags. This place truly is awesome.

There is a cafeteria style restaurant inside this market, they serve a wonderful concoction called a "Molcajete". It includes shrimp, chicken, beef, and an assortment of roasted veggies. The sauce and cheese that saturates the mixture is superbly flavored! I posted a pic a few weeks ago and got a huge response, so decided to describe it a little. This is one of the best things Ive ever eaten! So good, reasonable price, and after 3 of us ate there was still a lot left to take home.

I do 90% of my food purchases from Rancho Market. They sell much of what other stores would reject, not because of quality or freshness but because an onion, for example , might be 2 cloves in one or perhaps it is not perfectly round. You get great prices and fresh produce because they sell so much. Smiths market keeps trying to appeal to Latinos, but when they sell Nopal (cactus) at 8 to 10 times the price as Rancho, is it any wonder you dont see many Latinos shopping there?

Antes vendían buenos productos ahora casi todo es de muy mala calidad. Venden los productos ya casi por caducar las frutas y verduras se descomponen en unos dos días. Cuando mejoren los productos les daré 5 estrellas.

I cant believe how down hill those place has become. I am so sick of being treated horribly by the managers. I feel like they are prejudice. Ive had a manager, for no reason, stick her hand in my purse in front of other customers accusing me of stealing. I didnt even get in my purse while I was there. My money was in my pocket. I ask for help and 90% of the time the employees tell me they dont speak English.

Wanted to grab some Tres Leches cake went here since I dont know of any other place in the area that sells that cake in larger sizes took me 15 minutes to find an English speaking worker to get an answer to 2 questions and purchase the cake. I know its a Hispanic food market but come on is it that hard to hire someone that speaks English? 5 stars for the cake 2 stars for the overall service.

Color me surprised when I learned that this place now sells jackfruit. Aww yeah! Anyways, excellent place to get cheap fruits and vegetables. Be warned, they are ripe and ready to eat so you cant keep them for long (not like produce you would buy at Smiths or Harmons which is always a bit under ripe so you have to wait). Whatever produce you buy, expect to eat within the next two days.

This is my local Latino stop market. Prices are inexpensive, service is terrible but if you know what you need and dont need to ask for help then you are good. Google will help you a lot more to answer any product questions you may have. The restaurant looks decent but the food is tastes better than the cosmetic appearance.

I came here looking to buy flank. I spoke with the butcher and after he got my request, he skipped me and went to help a Hispanic lady. The other butcher saw me waiting and had to inform me they didnt have flank. Well if you only care to have Hispanic business, I respect that and I will take my money elsewhere!

It is a good place to find Mexican spices and bakery items at very affordable prices. I once had a flan from this markets bakery and it was good and cheap. I would suggest this place if you are looking for some fresh vegetables and bakery items in cheap prices. It is a good place to buy groceries.

Me and my wife are fans. Great produce selection and prices. Good meats as well. Other items that dont fall into these categories can be a bit overpriced. But it is our go-to for fresh fruit and vegetables and rarely disappoints. Wish there was another one farther south!

Great prices on Oranges for orange juice during the winter months. The store has a terrible stench and its not clean, but if you need some specific latin food they likely have it. The produce is not top quality, but its very inexpensive.
