The studio is a bit out of the way, but the Halloween theme is fun, and the whole staff is friendly, laid-back and welcoming. (And from what Ive seen of their work, really impressive.) I got my first tattoo here from Walt Watts, and he is **INCREDIBLE**. I had asked for recommendations of who does the best floral tattoos in the SLC area, and his name came up. When I checked out his portfolio, I found that in addition to doing breath-taking flowers, hes a talented artist who can do really any style or idea you might want--especially if you want something creative, unique and well-executed. My tat is a gigantic back piece of a crow that ended up taking about 17 hours (in 3 sessions) to complete. He sent me several designs to help get just the right feeling for the piece which helped me immensely in clarifying my vision for it. Obviously, it hurt, but he has a very light touch, and the line-work really wasnt too painful. I was shocked at how quickly parts of it went, and now that he has his new equipment, its even faster and a little less painful. This was a totally new experience for me, and with Walts talent, professionalism and bedside manner (helpful hint: eat enough before you get a giant tattoo!), I got through it in one piece and came out with an unbelievably bad-ass, original piece of art that I get to show off for the rest of my life. He gave me progress reports and checked in on me as we were going and educated me on exactly how to care for it. Its also worth noting that after each session, I was pretty much healed (albeit itchy) after only about a week! His time is WELL worth the cost. For real--hurry up and book with him before you have to schedule a year out! THANK YOU WALT; YOURE THE BEST! I love my tattoo and Art On You Studios!! I will definitely back for more!

I first went to the shop with a friend about a year ago, who was getting tattooed by Steve, whose work was impeccable. While there, Walt didnt have any clients and I was just there jealously watching my friend get tattooed, so we BSd for a few hours. He showed me his portfolio and I was incredulous when he told me he had only been tattooing for about a year at that point. I have since gone there to get some of Walts art on me -- he tattooed 3 gorgeous colored roses, the first phase of a shoulder/collar piece with roses and lace, in February, and I am going in today to get it finished with the lace design, which he is going to do freehand based on some designs I have shown him. Its by far my biggest and most beautiful tattoo so far, and I cant wait to see the finished result & post pictures! I cant believe how talented Walt is, especially given the relatively short amount of time he has been tattooing! In my opinion his work is at least at LEAST as good or better than any of the more experienced artists out there. Steve is also an incredible artist, all the guys at the shop who Ive met are very nice and professional, and I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants some awesome ink!

Everyone at Art of You Studios are incredibly talented. I got my first tattoo at age 45 and was really nervous about it. My artist Alex Weaver made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that everything was going to be just fine.. Three tattoos later, I adore everyone in that shop. The owners Storm and Renee Anderson make sure that all the clients are taken care of and comfortable, the artists make sure that before they lay the transfer on your skin, it is want you want, does it look like what you wanted, and are you comfortable with placement. I will not go anywhere else to get my tattoos. Sorry Art on You. youre stuck with me.

WORST TATTOO EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! Didnt want to give one star but it makes you...worse than Poor!!! Beware of getting a tattoo here. I had Julie do a Koi fish and she f****ed it up!!!! Then she tried to fix it by doing a cover up and it is still a mess and TOO DARK!!!! Storm (Aaron Anderson) the owner of Art On You Studios is the BIGGEST Bully, most unprofessional, dishonest, abusive, jerk I have ever had to deal with. What man touches a woman? Very unprofessional. Storm is obviously out of control!!!

Swore I would never get a tattoo, and after a great consultation with Storm, I decided that I would chance it. Now seven tattoos later, I still go to Art on You. I have found each artist to be professional, friendly, and enthusiastic about their art. A very clean and sterile facility that they take pride in. I would highly recommend Art on You whether you are a first timer, or a collector.

Disliked my experience. I didnt feel like I was a valued client. I did a 4 hr session. During that time Storm broke away from my time to conduct other types of business, answered the phones, showed jewelry, set up future appointments and even did a piercing. Although he did make up the time it was the inconvenience that really bothered me. So I spend my money elsewhere.

Went in to get my very first tattoo for my birthday in memory of my father. The experience was great I had my tattoo done by Steve, made me laugh and did everything possible to not have me think about the pain (still hurt) but over all customer service was amazing if I decide to get a second tattoo definitely going back to Art On You!!!

Storm is not just an amazing artist, but so involved with the community. Its refreshing to see everyone come together for Halloween in July and his annual "get a tattoo for ..." fundraiser. Great artist, great businessman, great human!
