I rated them "Good" because for the most part my concern isnt their fault. They have treated me fine overall. However, my issue is that I have had my phone in there 3 times. The 1st time, they acknowledged that it was a hardware problem and got me a new phone. this was great and I couldnt have asked for more. The second time, I brought my phone in a dropped it off and was told they would contact me when it was done, which was supposed to be in 1 hour. Never heard back. I called, and held, and called and held, for about 30 minutes, never got anyone on the phone gave up. Tried again about a half hour later, same thing. I finally just drove down there, now keep in mind Im 30 minutes 1 way, and my phone was done. Great, picked it up and the problem was fixed. Now my 3rd issue develops, my softkeys press on their own. It started out just every now and then, which I didnt really care and just lived with. Well, It got to the point that the phone was nearly unusable. You cant even type a text message, every 3-10 seconds, the menu button or search button presses and interrupts anything you are doing. So I drive there, drop it off. The guy that "checks my phone in" tells me that it could just be the software. I disagree, since this phone is not even 3 months old, and 2 weeks ago when it was there they did a fresh re install of the software. So I gave my 2 cents that I dont think that will fix it, but what do I know? So I leave it with them, come back 3 hours later, keep in mind it is an hour there and back, and they let me know that they "cleaned the connection" and "re installed the software" and it is "fixed" because he tested it for 15 minutes and it didnt malfunction. I ask "are you 100% sure" and he tells me he is. So I take the phone home. 30 minutes later I get home and start using my phone and guess what? Phantom button presses still!! Its doing it less frequently at this point, but none the less it is doing it. So I try to call the store, since I dont want another hour of driving hoping that they will say ok its not fixed we will get you a new phone, but I cannot get anyone to answer the phone. So I dial *2 customer service. Now this guy tells me that because they couldnt fix my phone and all I have to do is go to ANY store that sells sprint phones and they will give me a new phone, which I thought sounded fishy, so he schedules me an appointment the next morning at the "sprint" store at the Newgate mall so that I dont have to explain what Sprint told me. I go in and guess what? They tell me that is not possible and they have no idea why Sprint customer service told me that. So I call *2 again, spend about 45 minutes on the phone with her, she tells me I have to come back to this Layton store and they have to take care of the issue, there is nothing she can do for me, but she called the store and talked to the manager and he said to come down and he will "see what he can do". I didnt drive down that day because it wasnt happening nearly as much since he "cleaned the connections" and I didnt want to risk wasting another hour of driving to get to the store and have it not malfunction and have him tell me that its fine. Well, here it is a week later, and my phone is now back to where I was, phantom key pressing every few seconds, borderline unusable phone. Im heading down after work and hopefully they will actually take care of me this time. What is the point in paying for the insurance if they wont take care of you when you have a problem? Anyway, all the good reviews on here I thought people need to know what I have been through. Pending what happens at the store tonight, I will likely be switching to straight talk. I havent had a contract for 2 years, i outright buy my phones so that if I had an issue like this, I can bail. Thanks for reading my rant. Good luck to you!

This store tell lies to customers. They take advantage of clients that dont speak English to sign contracts that they cant understand. They lie to them about their plans and what they are signing, and when the customer came back to the store because their bill doesnt show what they had been told they just dont care. The store manager doesnt care how their employees sale to the customers even if this include FRAUD!!

These people are jackas. My phone stopped working Tue. night. I bought the warranty and I brought my cell phone into the Layton Sprint store WED. morning and they said they would have it fixed the Wed. evening. I called 15 minutes before I had my wife go and pick it up and they said they would have the phone ready to go. She went to pick it up and they said it was irrepairable. OK, they should have told me before they had my wife go to pick it up!!! Not done yet, they give her my old phone back a phone that doesnt work and has no use to us. I get home and Im thinking that they probably needed it but they gave it back to us. They told me that the phone would be done Friday and I show up in the morning and it still isnt there yet. The manager was of no assistence!!! I spoke with him and let him know that Im a salesman and have been without my phone for 4 days and havent been given a loaner and I need a phone. He says that he needs the old phone, and I asked why he gave us the old one back in the first place if that is the case he left my question uncontested. I said fine you have all of my personal information if you give me my phone you have all of my personal information I will get my old phone back to you Monday. He said I cant get you the phone until I get your old phone. They werent willing to help accomodate in any way. I let him know that there reviews arent so hot and they arent about to go up with me and he didnt seem to care. Hope Sprint can find better managers to run their stores than what I ran into. Nick

Thank you venessa! I am not sure what everybodys problem is with this female associate that works at the store but I felt misled a bit by the previous reviews. I read them before going to the store and avoided being sent to the female associate but ended up with one anyway and say one because there is more than one female working there. Venessa was the associate that assistedmy wife and I and she was just totally awesome! She had us up and going in no time, gave us straight answers to our questions, and since buying ours has provided excellent service to us and solved problems and addressed all our concerns! Venessa even called two weeks later to check on us and to make sure everything has been operating smooth with our phones and billing! THANK YOU VENESSA!!! As for the other posters a word of advice:

1. Get a name before opening your pie hole, instead of saying "that girl" its not fair to those that actually do there job like venessa!

2. Respectfully let the associate know your expectations, then maybe they can do a better job at helping you. Try it you may be surprised!
Finally, I find it ironic that posters talking about "the female associate" seem to be women themselves. Hmmm sounds like some people are just a bit spiteful and possibly onrey. -Rcsting
