Rose Hill

Chas super market has a lot of history. This store has been there 60 plus years. Mr. Kim his wife and family have brought new and wonderful ideas to this business. When they added the food it is a hit. There tacos and lunch menu is amazing. The taste of the food tells you they prepare all there food with TLC. So be sure to come over and experience an eat this delicious food. This owner is a good neighbor and has been very involved with the community in government hill. Thank you Mr. Kim and your family for being here in gha. The best thing about Mr. Kim he and his wife are such hard workers. They are always findings way to make the appearance of there business look great. Just look at there new signs outside the store. Thanks, Rose Hill-President Government Hill Alliance

Terrible experience and in my opinion terrible racist people. The food may be good if you get service. But if you are not Asian dont expect respect or service. I went there after reading a review of sacurrent. They dont deserve that bump. There are plenty of legitimate Korean resturants in San Antonio, dont waste your time with this gas station place. There is a Korean restaurant I go to they put the food inspectors report on the front door. This place????? Horrible experience. Stay away !!! In my opinion, plenty of other cleaner places to enjoy a meal. Wish I could give negative stars !

We read the review and decided to give it a try. Today, my family was there for the all you can eat BBQ. The food was good. There were plenty of side dishes. We loved them all, but most of all was the way the owners treated customers. They were friendly and generous. You know, it was all you can eat, but they suggested us packing to go the left over meat (which they had just finished cooking and brought out.) Very sincere people! Highly recommend this place.

Amazing Korean bbq, hands down the best in town! The owner was sooo nice and helpful, best customer service in town, and the food is to die for! I just couldnt stop eating, kept going until it hurt to eat it was so good! Weve had Korean bbq in Vegas, Houston, Austin, LA, etc, this place can go toe-to-toe with the best. Gone are the days I have to drive +100 miles to get good Korean bbq!

Hands down the worst experience ever! We sat down 23 minutes and nobody served us. I wont call race card since I am also Korean! Three American young ladies walk in and sit down and they immediately serve them! I will never come back. If you treat me and my family like this I definitely will not bring my Korean family back! The worst dining experience I have ever had in my life!

The place itself is random and slightly gross, they have lots of things in there that havent been moved or cleaned in a while. The only complaint for the food is that it runs out fast and is slightly on the pricier side but the portions are fair. Big tacos, random food options during the week like chinese, fish tacos and Ramen with dumplings.

This place was a terrible, messy disappointment. Dirty establishment inside and out. Unfriendly faces at the entrance. I was looking for kimchi bc when I called the woman said they had it but when I arrived no one knew what I was talking about. The only Asian woman working kept covering her ears when anyone asked her a question. Ridiculous!

Very expensive for a little bit of stuff. We wasted nearly 30 dollars for a little bit of products . Very horrible. Never again. That young girl that just got hired, very bad at her job for cashier. She over charges alot. I will never purchase from this market again. Staying to HEB

Best place in San Antonio for lunch, hands down. The staff are incredible, the prices are amazing for the quality of food, and you feel accepted and appreciated the minute you walk in. Chas is nothing less than an institution and I will continue be a patron for years to come!

My first time going there, and I was impressed. The food was delish! The dumplings are definitely my favorite. The staff was super friendly and I will definitely be going back for more. Traffic does pick up around 7, so I recommend going early to beat the rush.

Excellent food. Has a very authentic old school vibe. Staff were friendly and market very good. Im giving 4 stars because the bathroom was a bit smelly and some people are sensitive about things like that.

Good food but they run out of product fast which is odd seeing how they sell meat and produce here. Prices are a little high but still reasonable, if your in this hood and want a ok lunch stop here.
