I had the worst experience here.. I took my car (Audi A8) to get rear brakes at 8am.. Mind you my car was driving just fine when i took it up there.. At about 9:45am they called and stated that after a full inspection i needed rotors too . So I got all the parts by 3pm. They called my at 6pm and told me that my car was ready. When i arrived i got in the car and realized my air shocks were not lifting up. This has happened before but this time the car was a lot lower than normal. So i still drove the car home thinking that it was going to raise up. made it home and still nothing. So i called and spoke with a gentleman that stated 4 different names of people that worked on my car. and to bring it in the moring and talk to RAY (the manager) WHO IS VERY RUDE AND HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! As soon as i walked in and he hung up the phone before i said one was told me in a rude voice that my car was like that when i got there and he dont know what I did to it but they did nothing wrong..So i asked him if yall called me about my rotors being bad why didnt yall mention the VERY BAD SUSPENSION PROBLEM THEY CLAIMED I HAD THE WHOLE TIME..His response. "OH THEY THOUGHT YOU KNEW"..(wrong) but yall didnt think i knew about the rotors..hmmmm seems old to me.. It took my husband to come in there and for both of us to go completely off for about 45mins for him to even look at the car and still had an attitude the whole time insisting it was not there fault.. I will NEVER go back here and WILL NEVER refer anyone here

What a Joke! These guys should be out of business. No one in the service department cares about their job and it shows in the way they mope around and treat their customers. They messed around with one of my tires for a tire balance on a 35" tire for about 45 minutes until they figured out they werent going to be able to figure out how to do it. I was in the waiting room and I heard the manager at the front desk tell the other guys, "lets just send him down the road." At that point I was wondering what was going on so I went outside to ask one of the guys performing the work and he said we "arent going to mess with it" and gave me my keys back. Really, "we arent going to mess with it," thats the professional response I get from the Pep Boys. This also coming from a dopey looking fellow with snow boots on unlaced flopping around the service floor on a 90+ degree day in Texas. What a pathetic experience. I figured I would look these guys up online after the experience and found adds for great service, proffessional certified technicians, and great deals. They quoted me $53 to balance 4 tires. I found the opposite of all of their claims in their advertisements. There seems to be a big disconnect between their corporate claims and their workers in the field. Its a real shame!

Never again. I went to Pep Boys on Galloway for an alignment that was needed and a tune up that it was time for. They seemed nice enough at first, I went for a walk while they started work. Eventually told me that the car needed front tires (which it did) and over $1000 worth of work for the alignment, that the alignment would not work without these repairs. Plus they recommended over $1000 more on top of that for various other suspension type work. My husband had arrived by then and together we decided to go somewhere else. We went to Goodyear/Jordans Car Care on Galloway who replaced our front tires and did our alignment (alignment was $69). We didnt mention to them that they were the second opinion, just had them look at the car. It needed no special parts, no extra work. They even mentioned that the alignment wasnt very bad, it needed to be done, that the rough ride was mostly just the tires. I dont know if Pep Boys tried to rob me because I am female and was there alone when they first said it needed extra work, or if they lie to everyone about broken parts. But well never go there again or recommend them to anyone.

Worst service ever! I took my car here to get the alternator and the battery replaced on a Sunday evening. Since it was close to closing time, the service guy told me to leave my car on the parking lot overnight and that he would get to it first thing Monday morning at 8am. The next morning I called at 8:45am to check their status and to get cost estimates. The guy on the phone told me that they had not even started on my car and that no one had even entered the work ticket in the computer. Frustrated now, I asked the gentleman to enter work ticket and call me with the repair estimates. I waited another hour for his call, but I never received one. So I called back again, and found out that that new guy didnt enter the work ticket either and my car was just still sitting on the parking lot!!! So now Im extremely late for work and no one has bothered to even call me or fix my car! I got so upset by their unprofessional service and lack of concern for their customers that I had another service company pick my car up. I will never do business with Pep Boys ever again.

Store number: 0717 Greetings, I am very upset about my visit today. I came to purchase an expensive car battery. I was told there would be a $9.99 installation fee by Luis Delgadillo. I asked to see the breakdown of receipt. He initially gave me the wrong receipt. He then just verbally said $9.99 for installation. I pay then get the receipt and it says installation fee for $0.00. Online says free installation. Battery protection service charge $5.99, protectors and cleaning $4.00. He pretty much charged me for the optional $9.99 package. Also, there is no indication of the terminals being cleaned or no protectors in place. What Frauds. I should have definitely read reviews of this location before choosing to come here. I would like a refund for this charge. I did not want the optional package and this protector service was not even completed. I am very upset with this encounter and visit. This is my first visit to PepBoys and may be my last based on this experience.

The manager in the service department, dont have a good attitude tours the customer when i ask him why i was being charge for a diagnostic to my car when i was fixing the car there and also having an extended warranty thats going pay for the work. When i ask him about the charge he just told me and i quote" and whose going to pay for the diagnostic, because its not going to be me" And when i ask him why did Pet boys told me that i have to bring it to them, when i was going to take my car to my mechanic. He told me if you want take to your mechanic, after my car was brought to them. at the end instead of paying the $25.00 for the tow truck they ended up charging me $117. Thats a tricky way to still the service from honest people
