Keeps It Real

I really like this beauty supply store! Ive been here only twice. In comparison to two stores in the area, this store has the largest variety of black hair products. The staff really know the products they sell. Even the older Asian man. The first time I came, I asked him whether they have more in stock of a particular brand of crochet twists (Loop twist, $7.99/pk) and he said all that is out (not much) is all that is available. I asked him about another brand (Outre X-pression, $7.99/pk) after talking with a lady who mentioned her niece is currently wearing them after a month and its holding well. His response was the hair is good quality. Lo and behold, he was right. I am currently wearing 6 packs of the 24" Outre X-pression Senegalese twists (2 colors) and it still looks neat. It has been 1.5 months since they were installed. I would also like to mention that the staff are friendly and polite. Great customer service! When I first went there, the Asian man gave me freebies for returning back because initially I didnt see what I wanted so I drove around the area then came back. When I walked into the store today, a female greeted me. She also answered all my questions. I highly recommend this store. They sell several hair accessories, variety of crochet braid brands, a large variety of wigs, large variety of weave brands (human and synthetic), jewelry, etc. Its a huge store.

I called to ask about a certain type of hair and they said they have it so then my next question was what length then she says you would have to come in . I asked her you cant look on the self and tell me she says no. Poor customer service I will not be spending my money at this beauty supply.

Been going here for 9 Years. Well they were renting next door while they build their own and every time I need suggestions or help, ect. There was always someone that was helpful and understanding. If they didnt have a product I guarantee they will when I come back. Love that so much!

I have been shopping with Uptown since they were in a smaller building. As a loyal customer I dont feel like I matter. Also, I feel like they need more people that know about hair weaves to work there. Most of the people that work there dont wear hair weaves, but other than that its okay.

Very good selection of hair from $20 for a synthetic pack of 7 bundle hair w/closure, to $130 for a human hair 5 bundle pack w/closure. Also have full makeup, tshirts, hats, hair weaving net selection, hair products, and more!

This place and its staff are rude, unprofessional, and lack customer service. Especially the little confused ass melanin girl at the counter. It seems she has forgotten her roots. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Products are doubled taped. Why set up or cater to sell products to those you dont trust. It is awful to answer questions to my daughter why this is done.
