First of all, LOVED, that I was able to go online and schedule a consultation to speak with the stylist prior to making my appt. Im new to the Dallas area and have been looking for someone local to start doing my sew-ins. I made an appt with Tomeka in the middle of my work day. I work 20 mins away from the shop and prepared myself, and my boss, for me to be gone for 2 hrs (you know how it can be sometimes ;-)) I was pleasantly surprised to see Tomeka waiting in the front when I arrived so I was able to start my consultation on time. She greeted me with a smile and took me to the back to discuss what I was looking for. Ive never had the opportunity to sit with the stylist and explain my wants before my appt. They are typically too busy to make one on one time for their customers, but Tomeka prefers a consultation upfront and I think that is so smart. I was able to get her suggestions and recommendations and determine if she could do what I was looking for, although I was already confident because one of the reasons I booked with Tomeka is because I saw a pic of the exact style I wanted. We went to the front to look at the various textures, styles, color and lengths of hair they sell in the shop, and there is ALOT. A very helpful young lady (sorry, I dont remember her name) helped me for 15 mins to find the right hair that we could color and still produce the curl pattern I wanted to achieve. I was able to purchase the hair immediately and was provided a discount (Thank you, Jesus!) and booked my appt with Tomeka for June 7th. I enjoyed the professionalism and courtesy of everyone at the shop. The different hair you can purchase is impressive and you have the added bonus of getting the buy-in from your stylist on the hair youre purchasing for the style you want. Ive seen a review indicating Tomeka has been rude. While I cant speak to the customers experience, I can say that I expected an attitude because as we know, most good stylists tend to have one, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Tomekas positive demeanor and would recommend her to anyone looking for a weave stylist in Dallas.

I recently purchased 3 bundles of Filipino Straight hair from your boutique on Wednesday, March 1st. I had the hair installed the following the day after I purchased the hair on Thursday, March 2nd. Initially the hair was fine as I wore it in its straight state. The issue came that Saturday, March 4th, when I attempted to wand curl the hair. When I curled the hair it matted and tangled. Unsure if I was caring for the hair properly, I called the boutique on Monday, March 6th. I explained my concerns and was advised to co-wash the hair and then apply a serum before curling the hair. I followed the instructions given, however the hair still tangled and matted. A few days later I called back, and was told to try applying the serum to the hair while wet, followed by blow drying, and then wand curling . I again followed the instructions given , but unfortunately the hair continued to matte and tangle after curling. Even in its straightened state it was a bit frizzy. I used a quality serum by Design Essentials and pure Moroccan oil. I have since removed my install as the hair was too much of a hassle with the constant tangling/matting. In the past I purchased the Burmese curly hair and had no issues at all. The hair was wonderful and I received many compliments. Which is why I am so surprised Ive had such issues with the Filipino straight hair. Ive never experienced raw hair that tangles and mattes. Im unsure if the bundles I received were a bad batch or if the hair its self is processed. The purchase of this hair was an investment for me. Id hope to be able to use this hair for multiple installs; up to a year and a half at the very least. Four hundred and forty dollars is a lot of money to spend on a product that is unusable and ultimately unsatisfactory. Not to mention the cost of having it installed as well. I plan to bring the hair to the shop. Im disappointed that my experience has been different from my last.Ive always spoke highly of DHair Boutique.

I have been coming here since she was selling hair from her house, But the quality is NOT the same. From my experience they have a Lot of good reviews because they will give discounts in store when u give a review. They had a sale about 3 months ago, all bundles were $100-125. I spent over $1300. The hair is so much different now then then the hair bought previously. None of the textures match the textures from my original purchased hair. I feel like they knowingly sold defective bundles. If you dont know they sale defective hair or "rare collection" for $80 but its hit or miss but good for bobs, short cuts and if you are going to die their hair. The textures, quality, etc is not the same now. The hair shed, ends are dry and Tangles. A friend liked The hair I had on a trip and I told her to buy the Malaysian and when she told me she had a bad experience I thought she did something wrong because that never happened to me but boy was I wrong. My beautician also told me A lot of their customers have been getting bad hair. Also I feel like their closures are not worth the money. On top of that they advertised shipping as being $10 for the sale but they charged $20 (no refund given). They only sent out an Instagram post stating that they would give out coupons for a future purchase. The coupon does not have their logo or anything on it I almost threw it away because I didnt know what it was from until I found another one in the bag with my second order. After about six years I think Im finally done with the Dhairboutique I wish I could get a refund. I love what Deandra has done with her business and brand but this quality is unacceptable. I wouldnt say dont buy ...I would say buy with caution

Still havent received my hair. This was my first time ordering bundles. I normally buy Remy hair from the hair store. After reading so much "good" reviews I figured I should take my chance an order bundles. I decided to purchase the Cambodian slight wave for my birthday. I ordered the hair on 4/19/16. I finally called on 4/28/16 to inquire on the status of my bundles since they are known to ship quickly. Keep in mind, my birthday is on 5/2/16. When I contact Dhairboutique they advised to contact FedEx. Contact FedEx, they received a empty envelope with no merchandise. I contacted Dhairboutique again although the employee was cordial but by her telling me as a consumer that "its out of her hands" is a slap in the face. I just spent $402 with this boutique and thats the best response I got. No empathy what so ever. Not even a manager got on the phone to show some type of empathy or concern about the ordeal. Mind you I live in Miami I couldve easily purchased from a vendor out here but I choose Dhairboutique. Smh.. Dhairboutique was supposed to file a claim and investigate and yet, still no courtesy call to state the status of that. So now I have no bundles, no money. I had to spend extra money on store bought hair to get my hair done for my birthday. Smh.. Never ordering bundles again. If I do, Id rather order from close radius vendors to pick up. Your consumers is what has the business functioning. I thought I would have better customer svc. Still waiting to hear from Dhairboutique about the situation :-(
