Im posting this review after a great experience working with Eddie while fitting new snow ski boots. He was incredibly knowledgable, helpful and patient during the two separate trips I made to the store--first to source a pair of boots based on my particular anatomy and then on a return trip to fit a pair of boots that I ended up buying elsewhere. The latter fact that I didnt purchase these from the store and still received fantastic service working with Eddie is a testament to his ultimate goal of making sure I ended up in a pair of boots that fit well and would make for great days on the snow. Never at any point did he try to unnecessarily up-sell any products or services. Quality guy and quality experience all the way. Cheers.

Extremely knowledgeable and they care deeply about their customers. If you need a boot fit (or just about anything else), ask for Eddie Chavez. I went in for a boot fit about a week ago and he took nearly 2 hours making sure I knew everything about the product and the alternatives. The (free) custom boot molding he did for me was fantastic as well. I drove over 2 hours to get fit at St. Bernards and I would readily drive back if I needed any other ski gear.

Ive placed about a dozen orders with SBS over the past few years and couldnt be more impressed with their service. Items arrive exactly as advertised, fulfillment has always been 100% accurate and the shipping is lightening-fast - usually out their door the same day I place my order. In my experience, theyre one of the best retailers on the web, in every respect. Keep it up SBS - you guys are GREAT!

I couldnt be more pleased with the service from the staff there, especially Eddie Chavez. He spent almost two hours determining the ski boot best suited for me. After my first ski trip with the boots, I went back for some minor tweaking and again he was thorough in diagnosing, explaining, and solving the problem with some custom inserts. Great experience!

Always love checking out all of the new snowboard items that St Bs carrys. They also have a cute jewelry, scarfs and other assorted items. Randomly have gone to a few parties they have hosted from being on their mailing list, fun for them and me because I always wind up buy things when I go even though I tell myself I will not!

Large store where you can find more than you expect. Its technically a sports store, but you can find a lot of different options too (I.e., jeans). Tons of brand names -- from very expensive to more moderate. I tried on a pair of $270 swim trunks. Its an expensive store, but a good amount of racks on sale.

While its technically a "sports" store, I love the selection of ready to wear stuff as well. They have brands that can be hard to find at other stores, including the giant wall of Rainbow and Reef sandals. Prices are reasonable as well.

MAMA MIA, I love this store! Best, cutest, clothing always. Great brands, unique items. And good sales, just after season. I always do some damage here. Wish they had more kids stuff, love getting stuff for my kiddos there too.

great place to get cotton basics, higher-end swimsuits, and gear for skiing trips. love that they carry a decent selection of splendid and michael stars... not always easy to find in austin.

one of my favorite sports and outdoor shops in austin. more high dollar brands than rei, and a little less local feeling than whole earth provisions. good winter and summer gear.

great for ski gear, but they also randomly have a pretty good selection of clothes and jewelry/accessories, at very reasonable prices.

Great brand clothing. Stopped by here when they had a little party. Got a free cold drink and goodies. Pretty cool. Friendly staff.
