This place is amazing! I purchased a 2006 Ford F-150 from Terrence. (Really great guy) It drives like a dream! I read up all the reviews I could see about this place and I can tell you that those bad reviews are unpleasable picky people. They gave me a better price than the same year/mileage/model on Craigslist! And the ones on Craigslist didnt even have the triton engine that I got from Evans! Yes, they make you sign some "buying as-is" contracts, but I promise the reviews saying something bad happened after they drove off the lot are leaving crucial details out of the story, lying through omission. You have to remember that no one sells or trades in a car unless something is starting to go wrong with it. Its a good idea to save for a down payment, but also keep around $1,000 extra in case something needs to be fixed and guess what, if you buy a car on Craigslist, it will be the same story with the same risk. Everyone Ive ever known to buy from ANY used car lot had something go wrong on it, 100%, every time. My truck needed new spark plugs/coils (which arent cheap on trucks) and these guys went above an beyond to help me recuperate some of the cost!! This was after practically paying for my tag fees!!! If they hadnt have done that, I would still be giving 5 stars because the deal I got was incredible, as are the deals on most of their vehicles. (I looked around pretty thoroughly) I cant promise that they will do for you what they did for me, but I can damn well promise that they have qualified mechanics look over all of their vehicles and they obviously strive to only sell the best for unbelievable prices!! I almost payed 3 grand more for a horrible ugly beat up ford with more miles at the lot I went to before them. So thank you Evans Auto Exchange for being that car lot that everyone always wishes existed! Im glad I got lucky and found this place and overcame the urge to believe the bad reviews!

Ok so I just sold a four wheeler I had just customized inside and out to someone and I had been saving money for a good while, needless to say I have enough to pay a car off which is my goal to avoid payments. So I spotted a truck from the road and I pull into the lot and noone was in any rush to come help me (first car lot where I had to track down a salesman). No big deal, I found a salesman and told them I was interested in the truck, he told me the price and I was aware of it. I then ask if I can test drive because it had a rough idle at a cold start. They took my information and got everything ready and answered questions about the truck that I asked. The "sales manager" then tells me to go start the truck and wait for him so I did. He then comes out and tells me that truck cant be test drove and was basically implying that I didnt have the money for it. The truck was only 15,000 so its not like its priceless. Needless to say I was highly insulted, I may not dress in a suit and tie and drive a nice vehicle but dont doubt someone you do not know. I had just gotten off work and my truck may not be the nicest but its paid off. (which is why I have this cash saved up). Basically this lot is rude and unorganized and not very professional and I would not recommend them to anyone. And for the record I was an employee at Toyota of murfreesboro for a long time so I know how a lot should be ran and this car lot is a sad and sorry example of it.

Worst car buying experience of my life. After getting my truck I find that the engine is making a weird noise, almost like a dentist drill. Then I get it on the interstate to find it shakes over 62 mph. I send it back to them to get their mechanic to fix it. A day later I get it back only to find that it is still shaking and they say the noise from the engine is normal. So i ask if I can take it to the Nissan dealership to have it checked out, to which they responded yes and they will pay for it. I get the call from Nissan the next day to find out that its my timing chain and rear axel that need to be replaced. Which confirmed what I had found out myself. So Evans auto tells me they will refund my money and let me out of the deal. I take the truck back to them only to be told that Tom doesnt know if Im going to be able to get my $129 dollars back for taking the truck to Nissan, but he does give me my $3000 cash back from the down payment and tells me that the $1500 dollar check will be coming Monday, this was a Saturday. So Wednesday my wife gets the check in a envelope but doesnt open it until she is at the bank, only to find that it is $100 dollars short. Even though the copy of our check is right next to it for $1500 dollars their check is only made out for $1400. So thats where I am at, no truck and $229 in the hole. Oh and of course no one answers the phone when we try to call to get it sorted out.

went to buy a truck from them today I talked to the salesman before going we talked about price and finance I get there I look truck over its rough he said it had some scratches and dents just as he said well its beat up no problem im using it to work out of the salesman begins to go over numbers I ask what are we talking he just keeps talking monthly payments im trying to figure out where his numbers come from im using a payment calculator hes 325 dollars a month higher I ask please explain these numbers because the truck is 9,976 dollars im paying 2000 down he then tells me I am required to buy a 1500 dollar gap insurance that if I buy from my insurance would only cost 375 he told me the finance company requires it I leave on that note i proceed to call back and get the office manager larry and ask could i buy my own gap insurance he started explain to me how the numbers feel into place because at this point im lost ive been in or around the car business for years he tells me he has to make the deal work for them the gap pays them money and the finance company buys the notes from them for 80% so they have to make it up where they can and i can go else where fro the money and buy the truck keep in mind part of are earlier conversation he advised he wouldnt sale it for less than 10k because they will finance up to 14k so he gets 80% so they would get 12k i believe this is not only deceitful but dirty

Alright I feel I need to share my story. I was looking to buy a truck and found a 00 Z71 I really liked! Well me and Terrence talked about it and the body was a bit rough which doesnt bother me too much. After getting home and looking over I found out the truck has been wrecked in the front end. Well he said the only thing wrong was catalytic converters. So we worked out a deal. (which the whole time he was the nicest and most resonable person Ive ever met) so I got the truck and the truck had no power. So I replaced the cat assembly and they would still glow red. Long story short I ended up doing injectors,o2 sensors, and a number of other things (spent almost a grand to get it running right). Well now the truck runs great and the clutches are bad in the trans. Ive already lifted the truck, wheels and tires so Im stuck with it. I also had troy me with my tags, had to go through 2 paper tags before they finally sent me my hard plates (which were paid for). And the first one expired so I couldnt drive the truck for a couple days.. Moral of my story the guy was very nice and professional which was appreciated! But I got screwed very bad with my purchase but we love and we learn. It was my first time going through a dealer and will definetly be my last.
