Interesting experience at books a million. The staff was nice but the selection of books isnt very good at all. I came in looking for an economics, business and also, a fairly new best seller. Not only was I disappointed in the selection, they didnt even have the new best seller I was seeking.... its been out for weeks and very popular. If you are coming to books a million for books in any type of business and management, entrepreneurship/start up or economics books, save yourself the time and do not come here. If you are looking for a calander or magazine by all means this is the place. They have hundreds. Id also like to say, I am a college student and I do have free Amazon prime membership (free shipping). I came to books a million for the experience outside of surfing the web....to browse the bookstore thinking I would leave with 4 or 5 books and left with disappointment...Now I dont ever write reviews, in fact this will be my first one. I felt very compelled to write this review as I am having a hard time understanding why the selection is so small. In todays society business and start up books are prominent and very popular. Its easier now to start a business than it has ever been and many people are searching for guidance and knowledge. Personally, I think you are loosing a lot of money and business by not refreshing and updating that section of your store. I also noticed that much of your stores space/shelves is utalizlied by selling wall decor, supplies and planners, office stuff, calendars....this also was very interesting to me. I understand having a variety other than books is important but this seemed outrageous at the quantities you had them. Maybe kindle and iBooks are taking over and your sales are down therefore causing you to sell other products to create revenue which...in that case would make it more understandable. It just seems to me that you have taken alot of the focus away from books and that makes me sad because books are what brought us into your store...and will keep us coming back.

Great stock though I feel like I am being scrutinized a bit hard by everyone working there. They have two Pokestops outside their door and they are not all very friendly towards Pokemon Go players. This makes even ordering a coffee or book surfing a bit uncomfortable. Management should discuss this with their employees or they risk coming across as unfriendly.

They have friendly employees always willing to help or just chat about books for a bit. There arent many small bookstores around, but this large chain makes you feel like the employees care about their products. They usually always have a sale going on of some sort, and the clearance books are off the chain.

The employees are very rude! So tired of disrespectful people! I didnt even bother to shop here because of the attitude problems of all the employees. Dont ask for help here because its an inconvenience to the workers at this establishment!

Its always nice to walk around and look at things here. There was one particular employee that was incredibly nice and helped my wife and I pick out a board game, he was a really nice guy. All in all, great place!

I wish that they will not close down this location as there are very few bookstores in the Nashville area, this happens to be my favorite. Good coffee and good selection of books.
