I went there for a nose piercing. This isnt my first time having one and I wanted to get it back. The first thing I didnt like was that we arrived at 2 which is the time they open on saturdays but the piercing lady Brandi didnt arrive til 45 minutes later. I didnt sweat it though. The second thing that drIves me to write this comment is the fact that the nose piercing has fallen out after two days. I wouldnt reccommend getting a nose piercing until she upgrades her jewelry because she used one of the worst types of nose rings. The back was way too short and I kick myself in the butt for not checking the type of nose ring before I got it. A cork screw nose ring or a hoop wouldve prevented this issue or a longer version of the hook. Thank god it was inexpensive. Brandi was still pretty nice and cool though.

I went to Black Kat for the Friday the 13th tattoo special. As expected I waited 5 hours, no big deal. Staff remained relatively friendly the whole time. Riff Raff did my tattoo, the work he did was great. However, when I asked him to shade it in more he began to get an attitude with me. Proceeding to say that it looked better the way he did it. Then he decided he was going to shade it completely, after he started doing so he then decided to ask me if that was okay. I understand they were busy and had a long day, but that doesnt excuse how unprofessional he was. The work was good, but I probably wont be returning.

My husband and I went in late on a Sunday around closing time to get matching tattoos of our daughters names and Riff Raff took care of us. We got exactly what we wanted despite how nervous I was (he even said hed rather not do it if I wasnt sure which was respectable) but we absolutely love the way it turned out and Im so glad I did it!

Black Kat is the most amazing place ever. I went in today for my first tattoo and my nerves were instantly soothed by the staff. Riff and Brandi were helping me today and they did so good. My girlfriend got a tattoo from them about three months ago by Andrew and was also very pleased. I will definitely be returning

Brandi is amazing and I would definitely comeback! Got piercings done by her and she was quick and made the whole process painless and very easy! Theres no swelling or bleeding and she shared a lot of information for after care as well. Highly recommend her!

Absolutely fabulous. Its a cool environment with cool people. Great prices for amazing work. Also, they have the Star Wars box set so theres another five stars. If youve got tender flesh and a dollar, stop on by.
