I dont want to give whole foods 1 star but the branch in Greenville does not seem to care as much as the branches I used to go in other cities . I have had several disappointing experiences. For example the food at the hot food bar seems to be made in a very careless way ... wings are overcooked and turned into jerky... ribs were undercooked and rubbery ... sea food did not seem fresh ... the bakery section was bad - you wait for 10 - 15 minutes for someone to ask you if you need anything... today I bought a "supposedly" chocolate mousse cake and I kept digging and I could not get the chocolate mousse because it was just filled with whip cream!!! If I experience this much inconsistency and carelessness at some other mediocre grocery store I would just think "you get what you pay for", but this is whole foods! it has to be a few notches above bilo or ingles ... I will still go to whole foods but I am skeptical of their products ... I will definitely skip some sections or try to find other alternatives

I absolutely love whole foods. But unfortunately this particular store is not quite up to par. For a while I was living in Greenville, in the apartments right behind this store...so I was doing all my shopping at this Whole Foods store. On several occasions I purchased rancid/spoiled/expired goods without realizing it until I was ready to eat it. This store is not very good about ridding their shelves of expired goods, so be sure to check expiration dates on everything you buy. They have a prepared hot & cold food buffet that is pretty good, except for when the food has been sitting there the entire day. The bakery is pretty good, but dont expect a lot of gluten free options. Overall the customer service is excellent.

I bought a prepared hot meal entree from the buffet display 11/27/16 @06:40pm. My entree choices were grilled chicken thighs, fried sweet plantains and garlic green-beans. @$8.99/lb., the chicken had absolutely no flavor- very blonde, plantains werent done and the green-beans needed help. My total bill was $11.08 and honestly if I didnt have to drive 15 minutes back to the store I would have. This is my first and last with Whole Foods!!!! In these times when every dollar counts, paying premium price for food every consumer deserves the best for each dollar spent with these mega stores. Lesson learned, and bye to Whole Foods; so much for convenience.

First time ever visiting a Whole Foods. I am glad that I wasnt hungry, had just finished an Ingles salad that was in my cooler before walking in. Honestly, what is so special about WF? Give me a Hy Vee or an Ingles any day and spend half as much for virtually the same quality. The hot meal bar had some empty serving containers. Did not make an impulsive purchase, sampled an offered barbeque shrimp and yes it was an excellent Whole Paycheck shrimp. But no plans for foolishly spending hard earned money here. Maybe if they throw in an all expenses paid golf vacation.

Experience at this whole food has been great. Customer service has always been great (best one out of all the whole foods I have gone to). Produce are fresh most of the time, or they would remove it. Quality of product are great but could be pricey. Use the phone/book coupon and you can get great deals! I do wish the food court has more different food more often. Most of the time it is the same unless special occasion comes up.

The best!!! I called this Whole Foods to order a get well gift for a dear friend. They put a "care package" of fruit and the ingredients for a meal together, and even with a bottle of wine added it was way less expensive then flowers; and apparently more impressive as well. When I heard back from my friend she was elated with the gift. I can't thank the wonderful While Foods associates enough.

I am a frequent shopper at the Greenville store and when I am out of town I visit other Whole Foods stores, Anyway I had purchased several packages of cheese and my cashier Katie had told me that she had coupons for that item, First time anyone has done that at any retail grocer for me. It was not so much the money I saved, It was that someone was looking out for me GREAT JOB KATIE Thanks Joe

If youre a vegan in Greenville and you dont cook at home every night, chances are you are at WF for some grub. As with most places in Gville you have to be careful and ask about every ingredient in most dishes. The prepared foods lacks because it doesnt change much. The hot bar suffers most of the time but you deal with what you have. The "chicken fried tofu" is a staple.

I am a vegan, would love to buy some of the prepared foods on display here, but the mix will not allow me to. I have visited Whole food markets all over the US mainly Ca., the others seperate the meats from vegan and vegetarian foods. I have spoken to the person over that area here, but he is not open to change to accommodate all.

Recently had a childs birthday cake made by the bakery. They did a great job and the cake was delicious. My child was very happy with it. The price was actually very reasonable and competitive. Also love the fact that the dyes used werent the standard artificial food coloring most other bakeries use.

There are some unique and hard to find products here, but the prices are unbelievably high for what you get. I find it hard to justify blowing my monthly grocery budget in one visit at this store. The produce is often sub-par and I find that especially annoying because thats their claim to fame.

Ive had really good experiences in this store as well. The staff is super helpful and always goes above and beyond to help me, when Ive asked for for assistance. The only negative thing I could say is that some things are a bit expensive, but the level of customer service is top notch.

Love the store, but W/F Greenville has a problem they have go to do something about the strong fish smell when you first walk in, Dec 30 at 5pm it smacked you right in the face when you walked in....Fresh seafood does not smell.... it means low to poor saniation control....

This is by far my favorite Whole Foods. The store is organized well and the store workers are friendly and helpful. I was very impressed. As I will be a college student in the Greenville area this fall, I will certainly be shopping there for all of my groceries.

Customer service is out of this world, very few places if any compare. They offer tons of high quality options, and with store brand foods and sales you can end up eating healthy and organic for cheaper than not! I just hope they build one in Anderson soon.
