I have been a LONG TIME customer at the Barrington CVS including all my RX! I went in last night to buy some stocking stuffers. Well, a LARGE bottle of shampoo that I purchased never made it home...simple mistake saying to myself, Ill call when I get home and pick it up later. I called within 5 minutes and it so happened the same cashier that waited on me answered the phone and recalled my LARGE order of nearly $70 in stocking stuffers PLUS the large shampoo bottle. Well..instead of trying to help - SHE GOT NASTY AND BEGAN TO ARGUE!!!!!!!!!!! WTH is THAT??? Its a $5 bottle of shampoo, she acted like i was creating a scenerio to steal hundreds of $$$!!! I was done arguing with the CHILD and asked for the Mgr. The Mgr was very matter of fact as well and I was INSULTED when she stated shed need to check the camera and see what happened??!?? REALLY???? For a bottle of Shampoo??!?? CVS can BITE ME!! I have begun the process of switcing over to Walgreens this morning. It is NOT about the $5 bottle - ITS ALL ABOUT HOW THEY TREATED ME!!!!!!! Always went to CVS for my prescriptions, cigarettes, nail polish, make up, etc. However, the pharmacy has recently become completely incompetent. They are supposed to order in special medication for me, once a month. However, for the past few months, they literally "forget" to order it in, or order in a few pills at a time and make me pay the same copay every single time, even though I should have gotten all the pills at once, not had to pay 5 times for it. Its getting sickening, because I called over the weekend to make sure they ordered the right ones in, since Id had issues in the past. I called today, and they insist they have no idea, they didnt get a note to order it in. What is the point of them even answering the phone and taking "orders" from people if they dont actually call it it? Im completely done with this place; They dont know how to count, they dont know that "2x a day" for 28 days = 56. Basic math is apparently very difficult. The meds I need literally keep me from ending up in the hospital, but that doesnt matter. I really do not suggest going here; You may have medication more important than mine -- What if they forgot someones heart meds or something?

This has to be the worst pharmacy in existence. The people working at the pharmacy are rude and always claim to be so busy they can never fill a prescription in a reasonable amount of time (it takes days sometimes!) They are constantly out of medications and the employees are constantly messing up with the insurance companies. I dont know if they need better training or management, but its a shame because Ive always loved CVS until I moved to Barrington!

Seriously how hard is it to fill a prescription 7hrs after it was called in! This has to be the most poorly managed Pharmacy ever!
