An extremely unprofessional and incompetent store! I will never enter this store again and it makes the entire company look pathetic! We ordered a headboard, paid for it and were promised a time frame of delivery to the store, which we would then pick up our product. Great so far. Two Fridays have past since our product was to be delivered to the store and its still not here. Add to that that we were not even kept in the loop about any problems and that we had to do the ground work to find out what was going on! It gets better! Finally today, we were told by the store that somehow the order was cancelled, but guess what? They have in fact charged our credit card and we have neither a product, nor even one on order!!! And then we were told that they (the store) cannot issue a refund and to try and call our credit card company to get it iron out on our end! Our credit card company said to go back to them to get the credit. The apathy continues! When we called to tell the manager that we were very unhappy and that this has been a nightmare of a transaction, she was blase about the whole thing! As of this writing, the financial aspect has not been resolved! You would think that a store which charges top dollar for their products and has been made to look so incompetent and foolish would at least excel on the customer service end of things and do anything in their power to "make good" on such a disaster of an incident! But no, they could care less! I guess their profit margin is so crazy high that to loose this small sale and one customer means nothing! You would do well to shop elsewhere and save yourself some money and especially the aggravation of extreme incompetence! I wish that I could leave less than one star, as they dont even that!

Picked up a chair and pillow ordered several weeks ago. Merchandise took a bit longer to arrive than expected, but not excessively so. Sales associate at time of pick up was very helpful- she offered to carry chair out to my vehicle and she corrected a minor issue with a decorative pillow. Enjoy shopping at this location very much (I live approx 90 miles away in NJ and prefer to shop at this location, which is near my moms residence, than any of the Pier 1 stores located near my home).

I am redecorating my downstairs. I looked everywhere for a cool area rug. Pier 1 had so many! It was also on sale! Double success! I also bought a wall canvas. Also on sale! The gal who helped me out spent a lot of time with me and gave me very good advice. Awesome all the way round!
