Ive shopped at this store for years, mostly to order balloons and I always recommend this store over Party City for balloon orders. Ive never had a problem with Peddlers Alley until yesterday. Friday afternoon, I went in the store to place an order for 3 dozen balloons for an event I was hosting the next day. I needed to pick the balloons up at 9:30 the next morning, and the store assured me that would be fine. The next day, I had my father pick up the balloons because he has a large SUV and I noticed that the bouquet of balloons was short by 14 balloons. I asked him where were the rest of the balloons and he said this was what they gave him. I called the store and told them I ordered and paid for balloons but my order was short by about a dozen balloons. They put me on the phone with the man who did my balloon order. He told me that he blew up all my balloons and that he knows he gave me the right amount because he was fussing earlier that morning that he had to blow up my order. He said who needs this many balloons this morning. (But then he said he was just joking.) He said maybe the person who picked them up popped them by accident, or maybe he let some fly away, or maybe his car was too small. In the end, he pretty much stated that he was telling the truth and we were lying. My dad even went back in the store after dropping the balloons to me to tell them he didnt lose any of the balloons, it was what the girl handed him.I think it is poor customer service to put an employee on the phone and pretty much call the customer a liar, even if you feel they are wrong. I dont feel like they valued me as a customer. So from now on, I will end up paying a little more and just go to Party City.

Animal Education League

Peddlers Alley has done so much to help our charity, BRIANs fund and now hosts a consignment shop for us. Everyone there is so kind and helpful. The staff are great!!! Thank you for all you do. All of our volunteers shop here to support them. Today we had to run in for last minute balloons for a tabling event we are doing, they were FAST and less pricey than everywhere else !!! The balloons look beautiful. PS if you can - go shop at the consignment shop to help the Animals!!!

Have been shopping at Peddlers since I was a child. Great party supplies for cheap and an extensive amount of balloons to choose from. They recently opened a consignment shop as well in the back of the store.

Like a mom and pop dollar store. No food and no real gotta go here type deals. Its like a dollar and a thrift store. Has new and used items.
