My brother broke down on the side of the road on 9/29/16. I jump started the vehicle and we proceeded to Advanced. They arrived before I did to be told that do to the drizzle, they would not be able to check his battery. No lightening or thunder, light rain, a drizzle...and hes dead in their parking lot. I came in and they proceeded to tell me that there was a policy regarding checking a battery in rain (this is light, barely rain, rain). Having worked in a parts stores, and having changed batteries and checked them in down pours, and 3ft of snow I know that was a lie. The young lady and the older gentleman (David) refused to give me store number or name of the store manager. As well as cussing and talking very very poorly while customers were present about their store manager. Which is downright unprofessional. When they came out to leave to go home (the real reason they didnt want to check the battery) they asked us to move my brothers car (the dead one!) He proceeded to tell them it was dead and couldnt move, the young lady sais, "well if I hit your car its not my fault". I mean, really? Really? Thats what you say to a customer who asked for help, and is stuck in your parking lot? As I called corporate to confirm what I already knew (there is no formal policy regarding rain and battery checks), a gentleman with the name of Orlando pulled in to clock in and 3 min later is out there with a battery check...Not only did he check the battery, but sold the battery and replaced it in the time they took to argue with us about rain. Completely unsatisfactory, that young lady and her older counter part have the worst customer satisfaction Ive had, anywhere, to date. If you go to this store ask for Orlando, if he isnt working, dont walk, RUN!

Knowledgeable staff, however some of the employees are not very excited to help you let alone be there. I got a very abrupt "WE DONT DO THAT," where an, "Im sorry, I am not able to do that for you," would have sufficed. I sometimes get the feeling that if I am not a major car enthusiast, they dont want to talk to me. On the other hand, on a separate visit, the manager who helped me was very helpful and eager to assist me with my issue. I also asked him to install the new battery I purchased (which I know they are supposed to help with when asked) and there was no scoff, no sigh, just assistance. It was greatly appreciated! Three stars because of the associates that made me feel unwelcome as a budding DIYer.

I used to go here all the time when they had motor heads working here. Justin was probably the best one there. However, overnight, they all left. Now they hired a bunch of idiots straight out of highschool who know nothing about motors. No only that, i ordered a part on Thursday, told it would be here Monday. Turns out she forgot to order the part. I would never go here again for anything. Save your self the hassle and go to napa. Napa even has next day shipping and an informed crew. I will change this review IF i see a change in staff who actually know whats going on... some of the kids cant even change wiper blades

I had heard good things about this place from my husband, but when I went there for new wiper blades I was sorely disappointed. The woman who waited on me never looked me in the eyes and answered every question with a grunt. After she installed the new blades, she walked past me, looked away and grunted again when I said thank you, and then she threw the old blades at the (closed) trash can. They landed scattered on the ground where she left them.

These guys were great. After having work done on the car at Tires Plus in Phoenixville, my car started behaving strangely. Advance Auto gave me a free check engine diagnosis which turned out to be correct. Additionally they took a quick peek under the hood and discovered that Tires Plus had failed to reattach my radiator fan cord and he plugged it back in for me. Nice people with good attention to detail. Will be back.

Ordered a part online and picked it up at this location. Ive purchased various parts and batteries here before and consistently get great service at very good prices. This particular part was defective. However, when I brought the part with the receipt back to get a refund, they refunded my money without issue. I have a consistently good experience shopping here.

A sales associate told me they didnt have my part until I used my phone to show them their website showed it in-stock, in-store. Then they found it. Duh, I wouldnt have gone there if there was a chance they didnt have it. Again, duh, thats what the internet is for.

Orlando and Scott are especially helpful and knowledgeable and went the extra mile finishing up what I needed with my charging test and explaining the use of the torque wrench I rented even though it was after closing by a few minutes!

This location has such helpful, pleasant employees and they are willing to give a quick explanation when needed! The store is organized with reasonably priced items. Parking lot is kept clean, trash/recycling cans not overflowing.

They dont check a credit card user very closely. They allowed $1300 in charges for 3 separate orders at this store on a stolen credit card.
