The fast talking receptionist is a sneak who intentionally babbles hoping you will not catch sneaky extra s she adds on to your glasses order to, for ex: poly impact resistant lenses, scratch resisitance, uv41v whatever that is. She never asked if he wanted these extras. She does this to jack the cost of the glasses way up. She told my husband that after the $100 my insurance initially gives off our out of pocket expense would be $79.00. When I went to pick up our son s glasses 6 days later she continued the fast talking jiberish & throws in there I owe $179. I said you told my husband & myself twice over the phone our cost would be $79.00. (I also asked her to fax me a copy of our son s script but she did not either time- she doesn t want you to have it so you have to buy glasses from them & them only). She also showed me a claim form I should fill out to get reimbursed from Aetna. I told her Guardian is our Vision Plan (she had copies of our Vision Plan Card) not Aetna. I called Guradian the next day & they said they are in Network & I should of been given $100 off at the time of purchase and that she did not follow procedure & she did not price the glasses correctly for ex: The lenses I was charged $89.00 but should of been charghed $44.90- I was charged double that! The Rep. from Guardian put me on hold & called the woman at C Paul Cleary who said she was busy & did not have time to talk to her, nor did she return her call. My husband went the following day with receipts in hand & as soon as he walked in she said to him, you have your hands full , how unprofessional to say that about me He told her she was a SNEAK & SCAMMER hello buying glasses should be an easy hassle free process. She also claims she never charged Guardian for the eye exam I don t believe that. BEWARE!

Dont believe the other review. Its full of crap. Ive been going to their office for years (I have to get a new pair every year). I love them, theyre so nice. Every time I go I never remember the rules of my insurance, and she always looks them up for me- they go the extra mile to help out. The service is quick, reliable and friendly. The receptionist is probably one of the nicest people Ive ever met, and she always puts a super rush on my glasses because I need them for class- with no extra charge (that I never got with any other business). Theyre the best. Simple as that, and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.

Great customer service! The owner took the time to help me pick glasses that suited my face and fashion choices. She made me feel comfortable and it was a relaxing atmosphere. There were a few other people in the shop looking for glasses and everyone was cheerful and laughing as they chatted with Lynn. It is obvious that she developes relationships with her customers! That is why they keep coming back. She said that most of her business comes from word of mouth. I want to tell everyone that C Paul Clearys is definately the best places to go for your glasses!

This is an outstanding local business! I am traveling and stopped in earlier today to get the nose pad on my prescription sunglasses repaired. I was greeted by the nicest friendliest woman who fixed my glasses in a few minutes. She refused to accept payment for the service. I tried several times to leave cash but she would have none of it. I hope the locals are supporting this neighborhood business well. This is what customer service used to be like in the "olden" days.

C Paul Cleary is lovely small family owned business. I have been a patient for years and I cant say enough about the positive atmosphere Lynn creates. The shop is always decorated for the holidays and different seasons. There are hundreds of frames to choose from that are designer name brand. I always leave there feeling like a million bucks. Spread the word "Clearys is the place to go for your glasses!!!!" Love it and love Lynn!

What an adorable little shop! Lynn is delightful and so patient with my elderly father. She made the experience smooth, fast and positive for him. He is not easy to please and he left feeling comfortable and confident in his new frames that she helped him pick out. He even smiled and laughed! Love this shop :)

Awesome with kids! We love "the glasses lady" as we all call her in my family! She makes picking out glasses for kids fun and gives sweet treats :) Lynn even remembers our names, which makes the kids feel extra special. A definite MUST for families!!!!!
