I dont usually take the time to write a review for much of anything, but recently I received the best customer service I have received in years; it was so refreshing that I had to take the time to speak out on behalf of this wonderful employee. My husband had previously ordered a couple pairs of pants from the Hershey outlet stores and they were being discontinued, and he has a problem with some of his pants ripping/splitting, so we wanted to get a few more pairs before they were completely out of stores. We were sent via phone to the Pottstown outlets as they were the last ones with the particular kind we wanted. I called on the 17th of March and spoke to a young woman who was very professional on the phone and immediately found all remaining pairs in the store, but then she did something that really impressed me. She said, "I heard you say something that concerns me, you said your husbands pants were splitting?" With that she went on so explain that there had been a defect in some of the denim and that they would make it right. She needed to figure a few things out and would call me back. She promptly did all she promised, finding out what she could do, how to refund us money and get a discount as well as send us the requested denim. She called me right back, kindly did all she said she would and within three days we received the denim, discount and stamped bag to return the damaged denim to the store. I have rarely if ever received such thorough, quality service and was just so grateful that I had to share. If I am correct, the employees name is Ada Rivera, the manager at the store as that was written on the discount card; however, it could have been one of her outstanding employees who worked for her that day. The cashiers number on my receipt was 0188043. Whomever it was, I want to personally thank you for restoring my outlook on those in customer service jobs; too often, you see people doing as little as they possibly can at their jobs. You went above and beyond and I am more than a satisfied customer; I am a grateful one. Banana Republic is lucky to have you as their employee!
