To be completely honest - the only reason I even go to Acme at this point is because it has the local State store (liquor store) inside. You have to go into Acme to get to the liquor store. Okay, now I want to complain about the concept of State stores, versus private businesses selling alcohol - Its a bit ridiculous... but off topic. As to Acme... sorry, but when compared to a place like Giant, which is about 1/2-1 mile away - it just seems a bit sad. Prices are not better, quality is lower for produce, and for some reason, I have yet to walk into an Acme that really feels clean. Not sure if I can really blame the staff per say, as its something that seems common among Acme markets that Ive been to.

Ill only shop here when there is an item on sale and theres a complimenting coupon available a d even then its a crap shoot because the cashiers pick and choose which coupons they will accept. The store policy has never been consistent and you cant use the self checkout if youre suing coupons to avoid the cashier drama.

Live nearby so shop regularly. Not very friendly. Ive had to ask cashiers to clean counters, as so dirty. Love bakery and fish store where they are very friendly and helpful, though. My grandson loves Acmes chocolate chips, so I always have them in the cookie jar.

Acme in Phoenixville is a great place to shop. Plenty of parking. Plenty of help. Always well stock with sale items and everything else. The staff will go out of their way to help you and make you feel welcome!

Ive now lost count of the times its taken me more than 15 minutes to get through checkout due to having 2 lanes open with ridiculously slow cashiers. Check yourself out, otherwise its a fine store.

4 star acme because it has a wine and spirits inside. Otherwise prices are okay but it is a small grocery store. Convenient because its basically right in town
