I just bought my first kayak here, which was a big deal because I had been planning this purchase for years. I didnt want to go to a big box store because I needed to talk to someone who was really focused on the sport and had a lot of knowledge. Mary was terrific. She knew her stuff and was friendly and helpful, making it a fun experience. I got a great deal on the perfect boat and a lot more added value. They even walked me through how to tie the boat onto my car. I strongly recommend this store over big chains for service, shopping experience and value.

Disturbing to say the least. Do not be late you will be charged and not fairly warned. As Fishermen this is the BOMB SPOT to Fish. Still Dreaming of such a perfect river. Thanks to No One telling us the river was low we had to work hard to make it down most parts. Subsequently the DRUNK old man held our keys and thought $300 dollar was fair until we paid, Yup its in the fine print. So when you hear the banjo music dont squeal like a pig they are not looking out for return business. Rons Bait and tackle is AWESOME God Bless our Troops.

Doug, the owner, was awesome. My fiance and i wanted to hike a section on the AT and took a shot in the dark by calling a gear shop listed in awols guide. Doug let us keep our car at his shop while we were in the back country, shuttled us for a fair price (dollar a mile that he drove) and even had a beer with us at the Doyle. Doug was great!!

This place is awesome. I called in last minute to rent a couple canoes for an overnight camping trip on the Susquehanna. The staff went out of their way to ensure they could accommodate all my needs in a matter of an hour or so. PLUS, they let me bring dogs on their rentals. Good gear, friendly people.

Went there and enjoyed the trip, but management was NASTY to EVERYONE in the building that day. The people who helped us with watching the video, paying,etc treated all of their customers horribly! The only respectful people at this establishment were the employees who dropped us off @ the River.

A very well stocked shop. A very competent staff. Good boats and lots of variety depending on your paddle skill level and desired paddling. LOVE their demo days. I find that if I treat them well, they treat me very well..... Works for me.

You will not find a more knowledge place to meet your boating needs than BMO. The staff is so great and the inventory is Enormous! I recommend you go and meet Mary and Doug and buy their accessories and boats!!
