Probably the worst of about a dozen jewelers I visited to look for an engagement ring. My partner specifically wanted a fancy cut, so I knew what I wanted. I didnt let on that I had educated myself about diamonds to the salewoman. The saleswoman was quick to ask my budget, not problem. But! Every time I answered she responded by talking in depth about my financing options with Zales. She did this repeatedly, numerous times. Every single time I told her I wasnt interested in financing, I was prepared to pay outright. She was not listening and out of touch with me, the customer. I chose not to go with Zales mainly for this reason. I suspect she was getting a commission for getting people to finance jewelry. I told her when we first sat down that I wanted to view the fancy cut diamonds she had in stock either mounted in a ring or loose. She only wanted to talk about financing. When she showed me rings with the cut I wanted they were all specifically not what I asked for or she on sale for a very obvious reason. After looking at the on sale ring through the loupe I could see it was a dirty dirty diamond, many dark inclusions and a bad grading report. I would have been embarrassed to give that to my now fiancee. Zales KOP was simply out of touch with my needs.

I came in to order a name plate necklace. They are a bit behind in technology because you cant see how the necklace would look at all before you buy it and theres no samples in the store either. Before I made the purchase I asked the saleswoman if I was able to return the necklace if I didnt like it. She said, "of course, this is zales!". The tracking information was incorrect and customer service was extremely rude to me & the store was no help at all. Once I finally received my order, I hated it. I told the gentleman I wanted to get a refund and he said, " Oh we dont do that because its custom". I said thats not what I was told. He didnt even bother to ask anyone if that was the policy. All he cares about was getting back to his conversation with his friend who was in the store not purchasing anything. I called customer service and they said they have a 60 day return policy for this reason and the store should have honored it! I will never purchase from this zales AGAIN! I did get my name plate but from in Philly and I got to pick my script and actually see it.

Beware of small chubby white girl, late 20s, with long red hair! I asked her where the elevator was and she yelled at the top of her longs: "Somewhere over there!" I said to myself damn, someones mad that she missed her lunch break! Whats worse is that the manager said nothing! My husband said they were very helpful when he was trying to find my engagement ring, but once we went to get it resized, it was all downhill from there. Theyve had my ring for 3 weeks and it is still not done, and the customer service is horrible. Theyve contacted the wrong number twice and tried to tell us we didnt buy the insurance when we have a receipt that says we did. Id advise you to go somewhere else for your perfect ring.

The customer service was excellent. I called ahead on the phone and a ring I had in mind was put on hold. I got there a few days later and purchased it. Great prices and great customer service is what you will receive.
