I chose Kirman Eye in Hummelstown as my new optometrist, and Im so happy I did. Ive had a great experience every time I went in for my appointments. Dr. Gary Kirman is AWESOME...he explained everything so thoroughly (in terms I could understand) and he didnt proceed with treatment until I understood what my treatment plan was. I was able to ask him every question I had (and I had a lot). My appointments were not rushed at all. I had the Dr. Kirmans undivided attention the whole time. Joining the Kirman Eye family as a new patient was very easy, too...they have the new patient forms and questions simplified and easy to use on an iPad!! The team members and doctors are so friendly, helpful, and professional, too. I was impressed with the updated, modern office environment and technology, too. I highly, highly recommend Kirman Eye to anyone looking for a new optometrist in the Hummelstown, Hershey, and Harrisburg areas. You wont be disappointed!

My husband finally had a day off from his busy life as an emergency room physician and decided to visit Kirmans to pick out a couple of pair of eyeglasses. We had passed the shop a few times on our trips into Rhoades pharmacy and it looked like a great store. My huband reports that he entered the store, looked around for several minutes. He was the only customer in the store. Not a single salesperson approached him, or even greeted him. My husband tends to have an appearance that is less than professional, especially on his days off. Im sure he was wearing a worn tee-shirt, flip-flops and a pair of shorts. Im wondering if the salespeople thought he didnt have money to afford to buy in their shop, or exactly what it was that made them decide not to even acknowledge his existence in their store? We are new in town, with 3 members of our family that are dependent on prescription eyewear. Unfortunately for Kirmans we will be shopping elsewhere.

Simply amazing! I had a terrible experience with a chain company. (Americas Best) 6 months ago. I gave up fighting with this company and chose Kirman Eye to start the process of getting new contacts and glasses allover again. I am glad I chose this place. When I walked in for my initial appointment, I felt welcomed. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I was not happy to have to spend more money because I was ripped off from the previous company I dealt with, but I do not regret one bit giving Kirman Eye my business. My new pair of glasses are great, and my contact prescription is darn near perfect. I even received a thank you note in the mail! Overall I am extremely satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone!

I have been a patient at Kirman Eye since junior high. The doctors are both friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. I am always astounded by the new machines and technology they are using - way ahead of the times! The staff are always welcoming and cheerful. and there are always SO MANY frames to choose from!! Would definitely recommend their office to anyone looking for a new optometrist.
