THIS STORE DOES NOT REFUND!! Manager Chris Rupert refused to refund my items because "he didnt want the hit to his bottom line"! Are you kidding?? He was rude and outrageous. The reason people go to chains is for standard service and to avoid discretionary rule making. Maybe he spared his bottom line, but he sure cost Barnes alot bc I will NEVER purchase here again and will spread the word around my college campus. Barnes is a near extinct dinosaur and they just sent Amazon a lifelong customer. I made a complaint with corporate. They immediately tried to fix the situation. They offered to ship the items back (even if past refund date) and gave me a gift card to make-up for Chris unprofessionalism and inconvenience, so I can respect how Barnes online handles poor service. brick and mortar stores are dead. squashed like a bug by Online retailers.

I shop frequently at this store and have yet to be disappointed. The selection is very good, and whats not available in store is usually available online and able to be shipped in in days. The coffee bar is clean and peaceful for reading and relaxing. Im just disappointed I can only give 5 stars.

Probably one of my favorite places down at the Waterfront. Theyve usually got something going on for kids on the weekend. But even if they dont it can be a good place to bring them since theyve got a sizable kids section thats somewhat separate from the rest of the store. Staff has always been nice.

This location is always has a variety of titles in whichever genre I happen to be looking for. The books are very well organized isles are never cluttered. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Wish there were a few more places to sit throughout the store.

This is always a wonderful place to go. Very peaceful and clean atmosphere. If youre on a budget, youll probably buy your books and music elsewhere, but its good to support these brick and mortar shops before they disappear.

I was there a few hours before the release of the latest harry potter book and they had all kinds of events and fun things to do for children and adults. It was a very fun experience and Im not even a Harry Potter fan!

I think Barnes and Noble is a nice book store that usually has a rather comprehensive selection. They also have a few related products, including games (board games etc.) and some toys (including LEGO).
