I will NEVER buy another car from here. The staff are all liars and the company is very sneaky. I got my car in October 2010 and thought it would be a great car. On the lot we could tell the tire of my car was flat and they said they would fix it before I left. Inside signing paper work, a guy walked through and said "that car is going to need new tires". We asked if he meant my car and he said "no, another on the lot". That right there should have been enough to tip me off but I thought nothing of it. The next day I left to go to work and i had a flat tire. Every single day for a month I had to put air in the tire. One day I woke up and the tire was OFF the rim. Eventually when I could afford it, I took the car to get a new tire and was informed that all 4 were dry rotted and they all needed replaced. I was also informed that the brakes were dangerously thin. WHY WOULD SOMEONE SELL AN UNSAFE CAR AND TELL NO ONE?????!!!!!! How this car passed inspection is beyond me. Time passed and the car started making noises and running funny. I found out that there were thousands of dollars of things that needed fixed under the hood. I cant afford that, so we did the bare minimum.. The i left my job and could no longer make weekly payments. I spoke with someone in the office and they agreed to let me make monthly payments. A couple months later, I started getting letters that payments were late before they were even due and they were threatening to repossess. I called and spoke with the same woman and was told arrangements were still okay. Then I woke up one morning around 8:30 after going to bed at 4 and found my car had been repossessed that fast. My account was 2 weeks past due (I pay every 4 and still had 2 weeks before payment was due). Luckily I have a wonderful future mother-in-law who just paid my car off so I could get it back. While in the office I was informed they had a spare key when they originally told me they didnt. That explains how they got the car out of my driveway that morning and managed to use 1/4 tank of gas. I was also informed that there was a gps tracker on my car that I never knew about, but apparently I signed some kind of paper according to a guy in the office (another lie, I have no papers saying that). I got the car home that night and the next day my car alarm started going off all hours of the day and night. I never knew it was my car till 2 nights ago after this going on for 2 weeks. My mechanic said that removing tracking systems can cause a sensor to come loose. East side auto sales, you will be paying for this repair. Anyway, I will NEVER get a car from here again. And I will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I WISH I COULD RATE THIS AS 0. All the people that have good reviews for this fake dealership, good for you. I know dealerships that LET you test drive cars even if they are sold AS IS and used. Someone bought a car from there drove two miles down the road and the engine was smoking. First of all, there was barely any coolant, old oil, and the car didnt even start it had to be jumped. Now the car wont even start after day 1. Good luck with a dealership that gets all their money on down payments and the repoing the car because it isnt worth paying anything on. I asked for them to start a ford taurus, and he said he couldnt because the battery was dead. So I suggested that he should jump it then, and he agreed. Then I heard the horrid clanking sound from the pistons. The whole engine would have needed replaced. He commented that the oil must have been low to be making that noise. He must be the worst mechanic, salesman, and/or employee I have ever met. YEAH after he said it was in perfect condition and ran perfectly. THEN YOU BUY YOUR CARS. Oh wait, they go to other dealerships to buy their cars I wonder why. We thought that this crappy dealership would take people with no credit, I WAS WRONG. I found this one dealership called Battlefield Auto Sales in Gettysburg just a few miles down the road from this place. They do their own work on their cars and make sure everything is running and replaced before you pick up the car. They have WARRANTIES on their cars. They said after 3 months you could buy an extended warranty for around $50 for 12 months. Sounds better than no warranty and wondering if I would make it home. Oh yeah, and their tags and transfers and what not was included in my down payment instead of paying $500 extra with the down payments at East Side Auto Poop. BY THE WAY, Tomm or Nikole, are probably just workers or even owners of East Side trying to make their poophole look good. I also do not work for Battlefield Auto Sales if you were wondering. I just bought a Chevy Prizm there with 71k miles on the engine. They replaced everything that needed to be from radio, to the transmission and brakes. I appreciate them not selling lemons and despise fake used car dealerships that sell terrible cars. An East Side employee also mentioned that the Ford Taurus was repoed from someone who wasnt making their payments. I WOULDNT MAKE PAYMENTS TO SOMETHING THAT NEEDED THE ENGINE REPLACED. All East Side did was put it back on the lot and the down payment low and affordable. Also, the actual price of the Ford Taurus was priced $1,000 higher than it should have been anyway.

When I first bought my car here I was so excited. They changed the tires for us because they were really bad, they also fixed a sound that the car was making at the time of purchase. So we were really satisfied with the product. However, we are having some issues receiving our plate sticker because the mileage was off on PennDots records. So we have been trying to get that fixed and we are told that the manager is going into PennDot to fix the situation, but that was a few days that she has supposedly done it. We keep being told to come back later and they will have an answer for us, but they never do. They stated that they sent in the necessary paperwork but it got rejected for something else. And when we call, the workers there are really rude and demeaning, stating its our fault we are in the situation and that they are not in a rush to get it fixed, that if we are to call PennDot. So I called PennDot to get a better understanding of what they need or why they rejected the secondary paperwork. The agent I talked to said they have not recieved anything from the dealer and that the dealer manager or anybody representing the dealer has stopped by to fix the problem. So, this clears everything up, why should the dealer even try to have the problem fixed if they already got what their end of the deal is, to sell a car and receive the money for that car. If they were and HONEST and DECENT company like they stated on here, or like other customers are, they would not be so rude in handling the problem, they would also tell the truth that they havent even tried to settle the issue. And the whole thing about the mileage being "off" is even leading us to believe that they have changed it themselves! PennDot is rejecting the odometer reading for 1 mile? Is that the rule? Is one mile really a big difference? The dealer refuses to answer any questions and take responsibility for their product. So I DO NOT recommend this dealer at all unless you wanna deal with a whole load of problems on your own.
